My experience at Canad Inns was absolutely terrible and one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
I was traveling and had just driven all the way from the U.S., already exhausted from the long trip. When we checked in, the hotel gave us a terrible room with an old heater that kept turning on and off all night with extremely loud noise. It was impossible to sleep.
When I complained, the staff tried to switch our room, but then their key card system stopped working. Because of this, we were stuck in the lobby between 2 AM and 3 AM, waiting while the staff tried to fix the issue. After being exhausted and frustrated, I had no choice but to leave the hotel in the middle of the night and search for another place to stay, which took another hour.
As a result, I did not sleep the entire night. The next morning I had to drive to Regina for an important medical appointment, and this hotel completely ruined my night and left me exhausted.
This experience was unprofessional, stressful, and unacceptable, especially for travelers who just want a safe and quiet place to rest. I would never stay here again and would strongly advise others to avoid this place if you value sleep and basic customer service.
Extremely disappointing.
