«My family traveled over 1,600 miles to watch the 2024 eclipse as well as to stay at this beautiful VRBO. The cabins are adorable, comfortable, and well thought out. The property is simply beautiful with the woods and pond plus it's far enough out of town that the stars were stunning. The wife and kids are already asking if we can come back again! «The GPS is a little off, the driveway to get to the spot is right before the junction of highways 21 and 16. A beautiful spot with magnificent views. I appreciate the coffee pot and the bundle of firewood and the King size bed is comfy. Emily and Kayla made the stay easy. I will be back, when its a bit warmer.»

«Eric and Ashlee are great hosts. They answered all our questions before we arrived, made us us feel super welcome and couldn't have been more helpful. The location of the cabin is beautiful, set in rolling countryside with stunning views, close to Ponca, and there are some great family walks nearby. Lost Valley is great for young children. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Buffalo River area. Thank you. Martin»

«My husbands family is from Oark. We love to go down for the weekend. It was our first time in a cabin cause it was gonna storm. Best desicion ever! I think this may be our go to place down here. It excedded our expectations! And the host is amazing. Great communication.»

«The house location to the ranch was perfect. We had about 7 inches of rain in 3 days we stayed. And the place was plenty big that we weren't bumping in to each other. I highly recommend La Montana to anyone. We will be back.»

«This is a beautiful, historic property! Keith, the owner, has done a fantastic job of renovating an 1891 school house into an amazing vacation rental. This place has everything you need to stay however long you want to; fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, nice shower with no trouble getting and keeping hot water, washer and dryer, microwave, deck, small grill...awesome! «Everything was really nice. It could use a few touches like lamps in the bedrooms. It would also be nice to have something to sit your suitcase on besides the floor. Other than that, everything was clean and very comfortable. Every time I contacted the owner the reply was very prompt! I will opt to stay here again.»

«Beautiful views in every direction. Great hiking and swimming. No cell coverage or internet (a huge plus!). Daily sightings of musk rats, rabbits and deer. Choruses of birds and tapestries of clouds. The cabin is relaxing and roomy even for my family of 8. The dining room table is just the best.»

«There were wood roaches in the home and we slept in our vehicle both nights. The owner did spray the interior for bugs a few hours after I notified them, but we continued to see live roaches in the house and chose to sleep in our vehicle instead. Other than the roaches, the view from the front porch was amazing!»

«It was a nice, secluded area. Sitting on the deck, I could hear the waterfall nearby. There was a hiking trail right from our back doorstep that was very convenient. My kids loved having their own space and bathroom. It was peace and tranquil. It was exactly as advertised.»
