I arrived at the property and the front desk worker was vacuuming and seen me yet kept going for about 15 min until helping me. The room smelled like dirty feet so I asked the housekeeping worker if she had some spray or something because it was really bad and gross. She told me no I don’t have anything and when I asked if she has been to that room she laughed and said “yeah it’s stinky”. And then just walked away. I ended up spraying all my deodorant I had and had to leave for an hour until that calmed down and finally was able to rest until I noticed my sheets had pubic hair on them once I pulled the cover back on the bed. Called front desk well tried to no one answered. So I got the blanket from closet and slept on top of covers. I would never want anyone to stay here. It was an absolute disaster. I had just driven from Idaho to Kentucky and was so tired I didn’t want to even want to start the process of getting a new room after all the other problems. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL EVER!!

Great hotel. Staff was great, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was superb! The coffee is the best. Overall we just love the Hampton Hotel

The air conditioner barely works. Rm 401. Eventually the room cooled to Luke warm. The pillows reek and the vent in the bathroom is filthy. The room smells musty.

Bathroom had no ventilation of any kind. Water leaked from the shower all over the bathroom floor and into the hallway. Mattress was uncomfortable which caused back pain. Room was too small. Will not stay there again

Not a bad hotel, but when we arrived there was no water for about 5 hours! The hotel offered no type of refund.

This property is old and outdated. The bathroom was cramped with stained wallpaper. The room had not been thoroughly cleaned because I found leftover food on the floor from a previous guest. We only stayed one night, so we did not fuss about it. We have stayed in three Hampton Inns in less than a year, two of which were in need of renovations. The Hilton properties used to be upscale. Now they are just old.

I had a late night situation where my key card would not allow me in my room. I had to wait at the front desk several minutes before someone was there to assist. I waited long enough I was afraid the couch in the lobby was going to be my bed.

Disappointed
The condition of the rooms and level of service do not reflect the high nightly rate. The lobby is updated but the rooms are very dated. The bathtub was caked with hard water stains and soap scum. I stayed 4 nights and only received housekeeping once. Hampton Inn is usually very reliable and nice but this one was a disappointment esp for the $165 rate.

A cut below Hampton's usual high level
We usually love to stay at Hampton Inn hotels - the breakfasts are good, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. While the first two item in this list still apply to this location, the room was underwhelming. It feels like this location used to be a different hotel and was bought by Hampton Inn recently. The rooms are clean, but worn, and the attempts to update them were half-hearted at best: the wall paper in the bathroom was clearly done by an amateur and looked bad; carpets were worn; walls were scuffed and dingy looking; and the shower felt more appropriate for a Comfort Inn style hotel. Thankfully the bed was comfortable and clean. Though, unfortunately, our son had to sleep on the sofa bed, which was so old and had so little support that it should have come with a complimentary adjustment at the local chiropractor. Still, the breakfast was good and the staff were kind and helpful. I think with some good investment into the physical spaces this could be a nice hotel to return to....one day.

Everything was quite good here. The staff and fellow travelers were all very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, also a very convenient place for us to stay. The only thing I have to say we didn’t like is that our AC unit was rather noisy, probably gets a lot of use here.

We unfortunately did not get to stay here as we had extremely stressful traveling breakdowns. As it was non-refundable and we didn't know we weren't going to make it until very late that night I wasn't able to give notice. I'm sure the location was lovely.
