«Staff were extremely friendly, they even sent a btl of wine to the cabin as a birthday gift...So kind of them... The cabin was very clean...Only reason i gave it an overall 3 stars was because the cabin had an old musty odour i'm assuming dutch is because of the age of the cabins... As well, it's a little bit of a tourist trap, lots of buses and people pulling in to walk the Canyon and I do prefer privacy versus lots of tourists..Hence the 3 stars, but overall rooms were clean. «Lodge is located in a beautiful location on Emerald Lake. Staff is very good and on site restaurant was highly quality. Now for the downside: it’s remote and guests must take shuttle from parking to lodge. The “cabin” was clean but in a 4-unit shared older building with very thin walls between rooms. There are no services (TV, wi-fi, or cell) except in main lodge. The only food service is from the lodge as nearest town (Fields) is 6 miles and has no restaurants. So, if you are looking to ...

«The pool and waterslide are cool. The rest is crap. Do better Pocaterra. Staff are useless. No automatic doors anywhere so trying to lug a luggage cart into the building is a struggle. Staff just watched as I struggled to get through the doors. The room was freezing cold no matter how high we set the heat. We had to prop a wall of pillows along the side of the bed that is unfortunately right beside the blower because every time it kicked on, there was a cold wind blowing directly onto that bed. ...

«Can't say enough good things about this property! We had a lovely view from our balcony, which was a treat at all hours. The room was comfortable and quiet. We sampled the menu at the on-site resturant numerous times and thoroughly enjoyed each meal. Additionally, all the staff were delighful. As a key example the smoke detector in our room started chirping loudly at 5 AM. The individual at the front desk and a coworker arrived within minutes of our call and changed out the failing battery ...

« They put our luggage into other guest room and we actually had to go into other room to pick our luggage out at 10 o’clock at night. It was uncomfortable and unreasonably stressful. Although they did try to make up for it, it truly did ruin our first night of a two night day. That being said, you cannot beat the location. The hill was amazing and staff were beautiful. »

«A beautiful location with incredible mountain views in a lovely town that has so much to offer. The country inn had a homely feel, with the same homely rule of leaving our shoes at the door, which is reasonable and helps keep dirt to a minimum. Offering a choice of breakfast options and slightly friendlier service could be areas to improve. Overall, this stay was great value if you are comfortable with the basics.»

«We had a wonderful stay at Super 8 Canmore, the staff were all so friendly and helpful and it was evident that they all worked really hard to ensure the hotel was spotless and ran like clockwork. Everywhere was clean and tidy, if breakfast supplies ran a little low they were replenished immediately. Thank you for making our stay at Canmore such a pleasant one!»
