«The room was clean and smelled fresh. However, the lighting was not great, with just a lamp between the beds and a small one in each of the far corners. The hall light was around the corner from the beds, so it wasn't much help. And one wall was painted dark green which added to the dimness of the room. «We did not stay; the room was clean-ish but had the overpowering smell of pinesol. The building is being renovated and felt defunct. The pool was closed. Our rooms air conditioner unit squealed when turned on and the door would not close without being slammed hard into the frame. We opted to leave and chose another property, the front desk staff was kind and understanding, and gave us a full refund. I appreciated the compassion from staff, given the circumstances. »
