«No staff there for check in! And you guess which cabin to stay in. We finally figure out after 10 mins and should be the same picture as it showed on the hotel.com ad. The outside looks nice. Inside the cabin it is dated but we love the bed and to my surprise, the hot water runs really well. We made dinner there too as there was no restaurant nearby. So be prepared if you needa stay here for a nite. Also a bonus point is you get to use their kayaking across the road. Very relaxing.»

«Overall our stay was great. The home was very clean and had great access to our destinations. The only bad part of the stay was the beds. The mattress in the master bedroom was so thin that we could feel boards of the box springs. It was very uncomfortable and disruptive. It may have been the worst night’s sleep we’ve ever had. The second bed mattress was hard, but manageable compared to the master bedroom mattress. »

«This is a cabin. No verizon cell service. No wifi. No washer/dryer/dishwasher. If you can survive without those luxuries, it is an amazing place. This cabin is located a half mile from a gorgeous mountain lake! This cabin has an epic DVD selection for late nights! Hoodsport is a great small town with cute shops/restaurants. Our family would recommend this cabin!»

«This cabin worked well for us as a place to stay while visiting relatives at the lake. The host was quick to respond to questions and the check in process was easy. It would also be a good place to stay near the lake for someone who needed to be able to cook their own meals as there was a good sized refrigerator, plenty of pots and pans, and a hot plate for cooking.»
