While the hotel location is great, the hotel does not meet the hotel rating of 4 stars and the pricing of over $300 per night. The room I stayed had bad odor from the carpet and the front desk service was mediocre at best. I addressed the odor problem to the front desk and they basically had nothing to offer to resolve the issue because I booked through Expedia.

Do, the central location of the hotel is indeed one of its highlights. It is regrettable that your room experience did not meet expectations, and the issue with the front desk interaction is noted. Property was nice and the staff was helpful. The location is excellent. Very walkable. Honestly would have given a higher overall rating, but they hit us with a surprise $30/night "destination fee" which was not appreciated. No issue with paying extra for a good location in a big city, but hiding the fee until check wasn't a good look.

Didn’t like the room at all facing a BRICK WALL! It was a dark room with dated decor. The room size was decent but the bathroom was very dated.

10/10 I was super hesitant bc the reviews are mixed but the location is amazing. The room was super spacious. Everything was walking distance -> north end was a 5 min walk.

Have stayed many times over the years. This time felt like their standards had fallen: smoky room, lumpy bed, they now charge for a bathrobe (?), and they dropped the coffee service in the lobby. I was disappointed.

This was the worst hotel I had been to in terms of service. They didn't recognize the VIP access that Expedia had offered me, I even contacted the manager via email and there was no response. Never again will I go to this hotel and never again will I trust Expedia the way I did before.

Just wasn’t worth the cost and certainly didn’t feel 4 star. Staff were begrudgingly friendly. Rooms were lackluster, towels were scratchy, beds very cheap and uncomfortable (think squeaky old spring mattress). Wouldn’t recommend. There has to be better hotels in Boston.

This property was run down and tired. AC in room didnt work, TV didnt work properly, had to leave it on the whole time otherwise we had to unplug it to turn it on or turn it off. Other than a great location close to Nortb End, Downtown, Beacon Hill, etc, I can't recommend it. Plus an upcharge "Destination Fee" that was ridiculous.

There was a big whole in the carpet on the stairs in my room. The cost of self-parking was not clear at the time of booking. They listed the rate for valet parking, but no indication of price on self-parking.

The hotel is nice but the room is not the cleanest because the shower was dirty and there were spiderwebs in the room. But, it is close to the most visited sites. Also, they will charge extras without your knowledge for things you don’t even know about. Not to be forgotten, the checkout receipt is not accurate with the charges made to the card. They actually charged more than what was put on the receipt and no email communication as to what the charges were about.

This was a great stay great place and well please. I was a little disappointed with the “CONVENIENCE “ fee tacked on that must be paid at time of check in. Of 40.00 bucks a night. I arrived on a flight from London a few hours early. The guy at the desk told me a room was ready for me, but it would cost me to check in early. This is not the kind of service I would expect from a Millennium.

Great place to stay to be in the middle of everything! Really enjoyed our stay - only thing to note is the standard rooms do not have a microwave or fridge and there was only one elevator that worked- which made it busy for st paddy’s weekend! But overall great stay and worth the price!

This is our second time staying at this hotel. We love the location which makes it easy getting in and out of the city, easy walk to the Garden for events which is why we were in town to see a Celtic game.
