Our stay was very nice. The hotel was amazing—and calming too. We loved how private it felt. We were able to walk to most of the main attractions and activities we wanted to do.

The Battery Wharf Hotel has seen better days. I remember when it opened (maybe it was an Omni back then?). It seems independent now. We arrived at about 5pm on a Friday (Mem. Day weekend) and there was 1 person at the desk, but otherwise seemed empty and understaffed. The rooms are starting to age. Someone needs to get back in there and design bathroom doors that close. Enough of the sliding door bit. The style isn’t functional and the weight of the doors prohibit them from actually closing. There were also JBL speakers in the ceiling in the bathroom, but no obvious way to connect to them (unless it’s just a tv speaker, which I find useless). I also don’t know why hotel bathrooms don’t have fans anymore - especially for privacy. Having to run water so no one hears your business is a little tasteless in design. The next morning we also found little brown/red stains on our sheets. That was unacceptable! I believe the sheets were freshly clean, but the stain was certainly old. Lastly, the lighting was intense. The lights on either side of the bed were insanely bright and didn’t dim. There was little to no ambiance. Time for someone to get back to the design phase and redraw the rooms and its features. Maybe Marriott needs to step in and buy the place. Nothing really spectacular about this hotel for the location it offers and the price it charges.

The check in was horrible. The lady at reception was mumbling, did not write the room number clearly on the key fob cover, barely explained we had to exit the hotel and cross over to another building to find our room. A technician fixing the door was very helpful in guiding us to the right elevator. The bar was closed for most of the day and we couldn't get a drink. When we did go to the bar we were served by some random person who came from the back area and no napkins or nuts were provided with our drinks. He didn't even have a tray to serve them but brought them over individually. Certainly not a waiter or bartender.

Always enjoy my stay at Battery Warf. The location is within easy walking distance to North End restaurants and TD Garden. Staff is friendly and overall the property is quiet and clean.

Very nice property and perfect location to North end. The room was outfitted perfectly however, we did have a burnt out light in the bathroom and a missing showerhead .

Room was immaculately clean. Love that it’s on the wharf and easy walking to all kinds of dining, attractions and just strolling the neighbourhood! Very safe. It’s pricy but everything is in Boston. Fridge was hot and did not work. Went to front desk but it still wasn’t fixed two days later when we left. Rain shower leaked and fell in globs, not the way it’s supposed to so we couldn’t use it (reverting to the hand held spray). Those two things would not keep us from coming back and I don’t think it’s the norm there. They care about the facilities…just not that room on those days. The taxes, and there’s a lot of them with some paid on site, adds a lot to the total bill. Be ready to add a couple hundred for two nights. Coast guard on one side, Boston fire department marine unit on the other. Kind of a cool spot.

My dad and I were in town for a Bruins game and we loved this hotel! It was within easy walking distance of the north end and the Garden, and was very quiet and clean. The valet guys were also very nice and efficient. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for 2 nights and the day we checked in we were not told the AC was not working. The room was very hot even with the window open. No breeze coming through. The temp in the room was 75. Staff said the circumstance was not controllable and they could not conpensate me with anything but $50 to the onsite restaurant or a day of valet parkimg. After you spend over $500 for 2 nights and ha e to be with no AC thats very unacceptable.

Conveniency and cleanliness were major plus's. The valet help was phenomenal. Rooms should automatically come with mini fridges and microwaves. For tge price, that was a little off.

Make sure to get your receipt at the end when you check out. I was charged extra for “local fees” and extra nights for parking. We stayed for a total of 3 nights and at the end we were charged for 5 nights. They also charged me 3*25 for local fees which I had already paid when I booked the room. When I told them about the extra fees the manager refunded me the money. With no apologies and with an attitude. If I didn’t get my receipt I would have been charged an extra $200 without even knowing. Very unprofessional staff. The rooms are also extra dark and I had to use my flashlight to get my stuff out of my suitcase. Which some people might prefer the dark room. But i personally did not like the dark lighting with no option to make it a bit lighter.

The hotel needs vending machines, or an area to purchase snacks and drinks after the restaurant closes. I went looking for a water bottle and a snack at 1030 and could not find anything. This is an easy fix.
