I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at a hotel in Bossier that was far from what I expected based on the pictures provided online. My initial impression was that I had stumbled upon a practical joke, as the actual condition of the room bore no resemblance to the well-maintained spaces depicted in the pictures. It was a shocking disappointment.
Upon entering the room, I was greeted by an atmosphere of deterioration and neglect. The bathroom, in particular, was a disaster. Loose tiles covered the floor, and I even had to take a video to document the extent of the disrepair. These tiles were so precarious that I could easily pick them off the floor. This level of neglect is not only unacceptable but also a safety hazard for guests.
Furthermore, the door of the room was inoperable. It simply would not close, leaving me feeling vulnerable and unsafe throughout my stay. To ensure my security, I had no choice but to sleep close to the door, fearing that someone might attempt to enter the room during the night.
What added to my frustration was the fact that the pictures provided during booking were not representative of the actual state of the hotel.
