Strålende beliggenhet og svært sjarmerende hotell. Betjeningen er serviceinnstilte og renholdet var særdeles bra. Vårt nye go-to hotell i Bordeaux.

Meget god service i resepsjon. Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt for alt, men det kan også bety litt støy hvis naboene er klare for en fest. Er dere er par så ikke gå for queen size seng da den blir vel smal.

Strålende
Vi var der i 4 netter og hadde det supert. Flott beliggenhet, svært god service og gammelt sjarmerende bygg med mye stein i interiøret. Hadde sjel og det var lett å trives der. Rent og pent Ok frokost, men savnet noe mer utvalg i proteinholdige matvarer. Dog ut i fra prisnivå får man svært mye for pengene, og hotellet kan virkelig anbefales. Reiser gjerne tilbake dit.

Sentralt og fint
Vi bodde på hotellet i 5 dager og er alt i alt veldig fornøyd. Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt med gåavstand til det meste. Rommet var rent og pent og vi hadde også tilgang til en liten balkong. Frokosten var helt OK. Vi fikk god service og har ikke noe stort å utsette på oppholdet, men hvis vi skal påpeke noe så er det følgende: Det var noe lytt gjennom døra til gangen hvor en kunne høre andre gå inn/ut av rommene sine. Senga var litt kort og noe hard.

Flott lokalisering, lite rom
Bra hotell med en veldig fin beliggenhet i forhold til butikker, restauranter og severdigheter i Bordeaux. Hotellet har god standard, hyggelig personale og en god frokost. Rommene varierer sikkert i størrelse, men vi fikk et svært lite dobbeltrom. Vi hadde vanskeligheter med å kunne åpne våre to kofferter samtidig.

Hyggelig og hjelpsomme ansatte i resepsjonen. Veldig lite rom, men bred seng og god madrass. Veldig rufsete frokost, varmt og rotete. Ingen fikset kaffemaskinen. Godt utvalg i pålegg.

Veldig fint opphold på et meget sentralt hotell like ved handlegatene og i gangavstand til det meste. Rolig område. Romslig og fint møblert rom. Rent og pent på rommet og i fellesarealer. Hyggelig personale i resepsjonen. Typisk fransk frokost. Vil kunne anbefale dette hotellet til venner og kjente.

Best Western Grand Hotel Francais midt i byen
Sentralt, lite, men trivelig hotell med kort avstand til handlegater kafeer, restauranter og bybane. Imøtekommende og serviceinnstilt betjening. Jeg hadde svært tidlig utsjekking (kl. 04:00), men ble vekket etter avtale og taxien stod og ventet. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake.

Grand Hotel Francais - super location
The Grand Hotel Francais in Bordeaux enjoys a fantastic location in the old town, but avoid trying to drive to the hotel. Instead, park your car in the parking at Les Grands Hommes before approaching the hotel and walk the 150 metres to the entrance.

Sensommertur til Bordeaux
Et hyggelig hotell i en rolig sidegate med hyggelig personale og velfungerende airconditioning på et lekkert, men lite dobbeltrom. Badet var også delikat. Bordeaux er en hyggelig by med masse trivelige kafeer og severdigheter. Offentlig transport er velfungerende og koster lite men med god komfort. Vi var der i midten av september, og temperatur og vær var som en hyggelig god norsk sommer - shorts og T-skjorte var nok på dagen. Om kvelden kunne det være greit å i hvert fall ha med genseren. Totalt sett en opplevelse vi gjerne anbefaler andre.

Conveniently located in the city centre. Public transit is close, even from the airport. The small window shades cannot be pulled up becsuse of broken string so it remained down all the time.

My only negative comment, the size of our room. We barely could move around at the same time and the bathroom too,, couldn’t raise both arms at the same time. Otherwise we enjoyed the hotel and the staff were wonderful!

The Staff were fantastic, very helpful. Had a few drinks in bar and my other half wanted a cocktail that wasn't on the menu. The bartender just went ahead and researched the cocktail and made a perfect 'Lemon Drop' very happy partner. The area is nice and very close to shopping/river/restaurants

This is a terrific location for walking or reaching the sights of Bordeaux by tram or bus. The staff is excellent - friendly and very helpful in getting us to where we wanted to go. The breakfast is outstanding and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

Lovely hotel
Cozy little hotel with a lovely bar situated just off the Main Street. Room was a good size for European standards. We had a lovely balcony that’s furnished with a table and two chairs. Overlooking a quiet street. Conveniently located for the tram to the airport and pretty much anywhere else you’d wish to go in Bordeaux. The staff were super friendly. Cleanliness was spot on. Plenty restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Overall, a great stay! We’d definitely return.

Well situated in the center of the old city. Staff were unfailingly helpful and professional. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional. Would unhesitatingly recommend.

Made a last minute booking which went smoothly and the staff were very agreeable and welcoming to us and our dog. The room was very clean and tidy, breakfast a bit more than basic, and the location is very central but in a mostly pedestrianised area so parking is several blocks away. My only suggestion is to provide parking details with the booking confirmation which would have saved us having to find parking and then move our car to the closer, discounted parking (still 3-4 blocks from the hotel).
