«Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Rich in history. The rooms look a bit weared down, but being a hotel from 1891 that is no surprise. We had only good experiences with the staff and the food at the main restaurant was good. To bad that we had already filled our plates at breakfast when we discovered another room with delicious Sri Lankan breakfast food. I'm afraid quite a few people don't notice that room. «Thanks to Villam, Sanjaya and the team. This is a great little sanctuary nestled just off the main road as you head into town from Kandy. Clear directions provided prior to arrival, quick check-in and warm welcome provided. «We booked 2 rooms and stayed only one night at this hotel. The staff were amazing from the moment we stepped into the property. They served us coffee whilst waiting for check in. Then they showed us to our rooms and even showed us to the other empty rooms. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and we had such a lovely stay. Highly recommended. »

«Our stay at Araliya Green City was amazing. We received a traditional welcome (lighting of Oil lamp, garland) Our room ws sòoooooo spacious. It had 4 washrooms, 3 fire places, 2 massive king size beds, living room, dining room, fully functional kitchen with 5 appliances. Washer and dryer. It had the best view. «Ett nybyggt, rent och mycket fräscht hotell med en underbar utsikt. Rummen är stora och stilrena med sköna sängar. Personalen är otroligt vänlig och serviceminded och får en att känna sig varmt välkommen. Hotellet ligger endast cirka 10 minuters promenad från Ellas centrum. Nära till allt, men ändå lugnt och tyst. Vägen upp till hotellet är charmig och grönskande, bitvis lite backig. Vi är väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse och skulle gärna bo här igen»

«Stayed for 2 nights in November in the family room with mountain view & our own roof terrace with table, chairs & hammocks. Our room was very nice, clean & the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a good size. The breakfast was delicious & the view from the roof terrace was great & we were lucky enough to watch a giant squirrel building it's nest at the top of a tree, as well as see some tiny squirrels & it was lovely to see & hear the birds singing early in the morning.
