The resort all in all was beautiful. The lobby and the bar were warm and cozy and elegant. The Creekside property was gorgeous. Unfortunately, we had two pretty disappointing issues with miscommunication with staff and the website about dining and the spa. I was excited for the spa services specifically the creekside sauna that was advertised on the website and called before arriving to inquire about it and available appointments but the person who answered the phone had no idea what was available to us as guests of the resort nor what services the spa was offering and said to just go to the spa and ask when I got there. When we checked in, I asked again about the sauna and again the person did not know, and the spa was already closed. I went onto the website and to the link for the spa and tried to book an appointment for the next day and it said there were none available which was really disappointing. So I got over it and we moved onto dinner plans at the hotel restaurant that the website said was open until 6 on Sundays which was early but ok but then found out that they closed at 3 on Sundays-ugh- had to get food delivered to our room. Next day and the most disappointing part is that after we packed up and checked out, we took one last walk by the beautiful creek and found the barrel sauna and jacuzzi sitting there for guests of the resort ready to enjoy- the one that I had asked multiple staff members about:(((! We would have loved to have enjoyed these amenities!!!
