The check-in process was okay and efficient. The lobby area looks nice, and the luggage service was very good and professional.
Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. It felt very outdated and old-fashioned, and it was uncomfortably cold. The in-room heating did not work at all. The photos online look significantly better than the actual condition of the room.
It also took an unusually long time for hot water to arrive, and once it did, the water pressure was almost nonexistent. There was visible mold in the bathroom, which is unacceptable for a hotel in this price range.
In addition, there was a very unpleasant smell throughout the corridors. The odor on the third floor in particular was overwhelming and made the entire floor feel poorly maintained.
Breakfast was rather average and below expectations for a Hilton property. On top of that, I was charged 19% VAT despite arriving with a Swiss passport, which added to the frustration.
Overall, this hotel does not meet the standards one would expect from Hilton at this price point
