Perhaps it’s unfair but I’ve stayed at both the Waterstone and the Boca Raton resort, which is right next door, so that may color my opinion.
Calling the Waterstone a resort is a stretch. It’s a hotel with a small pool, patio on the water and access to watercraft that is near the beach. Just location doesn’t make it a resort in my opinion. It’s just a regular hotel that is like any other Hilton. True it’s significantly less expensive than the Boca Raton but you get what you pay for.
There are only 6 floors of guest rooms making it small which is nice. There are only 2 elevators so if one is out and the hotel is full it will be a long time to get to your room.
Rooms are fine, nothing special but it does have a small balcony which is nice.
The restaurants were good. Kasumi was actually exceptionally good. The seafood fresh, service was quick and attentive. I only had breakfast at the other, more casual, restaurant and it was fine.
The in the end I was satisfied and maybe it should be a 3.5 rating.
