There's an Ingles for groceries nearby, if you need one, restaurants, gas, there's even a quiet little tavern up the road a bit if that's your thing. Friendly people there. «Great place for a relaxing vacation. Close enough to all the hikes we were doing. Then we were able to come back and hop in the hot tub. About 15 minutes away from restaurants but keep in mind a lot close around 3pm on sundays. Small incline for the drive way but not on a busy road. Lots of beautiful plants around the cabin!»

«The location was great, size was perfect, everything I could expect and more. The view was amazing. Bed slept well for my back issues. Had plenty of hot water when needed. Parking was at the front door so didn’t have to haul luggage very far. Neighbor was very friendly and informative about the area. Realtor answered all questions prior to arrival. I would definitely stay here again and have suggested this to others who may want to vacation in the Crossnore area.»

«This home appears to have had a major upgrade to the entire interior. It is as cute as can be. Exterior is dated but please don’t judge this home by its exterior. The walk-in shower is a plus as were the plush towels and linens. The home is well stocked with all essentials. WI-FI works well and the LR has a Smart TV. It was a joy to stay here and are sad to be leaving this morning. Great place, extremely reasonable cost for a place minutes from Asheville,NC»

«The place is really nice and clean. It has beautiful views and is very relaxing. There are cows grazing on the mountain right beside the property. It is perfect for two people. The fireplace and A/C worked well. The WiFi does not work. There is a larger house and this place is an apartment/cabin over the detached garage. All trash cans are stored inside the garage for the house and cabin. Upon arriving the trash cans smelled very bad. I could smell them when I stepped outside my car and could ...

«The cottage is cute and very clean. There is a stream that runs through the property. It was peaceful to watch and listen to it from the porches. We spent time at the house and took day trips to Shenandoah National park and Grand Caverns. I would definitely book this same place again.»

«Love, love the area! I used to live in the Haw Creek neighborhood years ago. My favorite part was the bay windows looking over the hollar. The house and property were perfect. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. I also got to see wild Turkeys and black bears! I would highly recommend!»

«I took my mom to Asheville for Mother’s Day for a long weekend. We went to Biltmore and the outlets while we were there. The property was as pictured it is off the beaten path although it close to town. We did see wild turkeys and black bears but did not feel unsafe. Even my dog slept good and she struggles with relaxing when I travel. Definitely would stay again. Everything was clean smelled good and accessible.»

«The cabin was cute but the hot tub was a cold tub. Emailed the owner and didnt receive a timely response (1.5 days later and we stayed 3 night). I ended up spending some time to get it going, but unfortunate. We did have some encounters with rodents but its a cabin in the woods. Beautiful views and was cozy otherwise.»
