EASY WINTER ACCESS!! Enjoy this cozy cabin with two master suites, a screened porch overlooking the tranquil sounds of rushing waters. Relax by the outside fireplace as nature surrounds you or sit by the creek side firepit as you roast marshmallows. Seasonal mountain views combined with rushing waters draws you outside as stress washes away. Inside, smell the coffee percolating at your own coffee bar or just spend the day wrapped in luxury bedding. Feeling adventurous, spend the day on the nearby lake fishing or kayaking or take a hike on the trail that runs right by the cabin. Twelve wineries nearby as well as many restaurants to satisfy your taste buds. Conveniently located halfway between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, you will have plenty to do. Sipping your favorite beverage with your friends or family by the fire immersed in the sounds of rushing waters may all you ever need. Easily accessible for any car or truck with paved roads.

To make your time at The Blissful Bear even more blissful and hassle free we provide delivery service. If you would like to have your groceries waiting for you when you arrive, or if you are celebrating a special event and would like a specific item to be waiting for you, or any special request, we have you covered!!

Outside treehouse fireplace is amazing. Owner provides plenty of firewood and thoughtfully decorated for the Christmas holiday. So many thoughtful touches made the experience very special. Excellent attention to details that made the stay exceptional

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Felt like walking into my home. Fireplace was fabulous, wood provided. Beds were very comfortable and loved the Master Spa shower. Enjoy being outside and hearing the bubbling creek running just below, sounded like soft rain coming down. The only thing that was missing was a hot tub to view the stars.

The cabin was located on a beautiful lot overlooking a flowing creek The treehouse with fireplace was great and plenty of firewood was provided. The cabin had a fully stocked coffee bar which we all enjoyed. The owner of this cabin was very timely with all correspndence. We would highly recommend this property.

Loved the whole week! House was spotless and the welcome decorations started at the driveway and continued thru the cabin, onto the screened porch and even in the tree house. Made to feel like a home away from home! It smelled wonderful and there was everything you could ask for to be able to cook and grill. There were so many little touches, like a gift bag that held everything you needed for smores and popcorn to adorable cloth animals throughout. The beds were comfortable and the linens soft and inviting. It was even better than we imagined with the creek running over rocks creating a soft and soothing sound. It was virtually the only sound besides birds that we heard. The quiet was unbelievable and we loved every minute of it. We read by the fireplace at night and never had a bug bother us. We ate every meal on the screened in porch (which had a grill that was perfect for cooking outdoors) and had coffee from the lovely coffee bar every morning on the porch in the rocking chairs. We wanted a place to relax and be in nature and we found the perfect place. The walking trail by the creek was an added bonus as well. We are already trying to decide when we can book for next year and really appreciate everything that Edward did to accommodate us for this trip!

Absolutely perfect trip! The hosts provided everything needed and then some. The cabin was beautifully decorated, clean, cosy and comfortable and we will most definitely return and stay longer on our next trip. I'm torn between telling everyone I know about this perfect cabin because Im afraid it will be booked and unavailable making it difficult for my return. Thank you for making our trip perfect!

Where can I start!!! This place is spectacular!!! From the moment we walked in we were blown away!! The pictures do not do it justice!! The home was immaculate. The coffee bar was unreal!!! It had everything!! They left a gift for is to make smores and a bag of popcorn. The cabin has everything you need!! We ate breakfast every morning out on the covered screened in porch. At night we burned in the fireplace in the tree house. You can hear the creek in the back the whole time you are outside. This was the most peaceful place for rest and relaxation!! Oh, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud!! We will never stay anywhere else in Ellijay but here from now on!! Will be back again soon!!

Wonderful ‘cabin in the woods’.Very comfortable with all the amenities well thought. Loved the screen porch and tree house. Sat out every morning with our coffee listening to the babbling stream enjoying a leisurely time to reconnect.

Well appointed and thoughtful items left in the pantry for communal/guest use which was super handy. Host answered all questions and concerns promptly. Coffee bar is clutch! Great trip reconnecting with my wife and created some great memories that will last a lifetime. Very relaxing and recharging trip. While there is no access from property to the creek the gurgling sound is quite soothing. We did not use the fire areas as it was just too warm, but hanging out in the 'tree house' was quite enjoyable. Excellent host and property and would definitely consider a return trip. Watch out for the bear!

Great place!

The cabin is very very clean and stocked probably better than any we have ever stayed at. Both the treehouse porch area and large screen porch were great for cards, games, reading and visiting with our friends. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

The cabin was perfect, so beautiful, peaceful, and well-equipped. Loved and used all outdoor spaces. The gurgling stream below the property was so soothing. All lthe trees and foliage made it feel as if you were staying in a tree house. I enjoyed walking up and down the neighborhood hilly streets. We loved our stay.

Blissful peace in the woods

This cabin felt like home. The feeling you will get just rocking in the chairs or sitting outside listening to the creek and birds will immediately melt the stress away. The area is beautiful and well maintained. Would recommend 100%Basic essentials well stocked, coffee bar, games and room to relax just a few unexpected bonuses.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful with every amenity you can imagine plus more. The sound of the rushing stream at the foot of the hill by the firepit was so relaxing and having our morning coffee in the treehouse was too. I wish it was colder so we could have had a fire out there. We plan to return next year. Many thanks to our host for such a relaxing vacation.

Immaculate ! Thoughtfully prepared providing every detsol and more. Two wood burning fireplaces made for wonderful evenings. A coffee bar stocked with coffees, hot chocolate. Cabin was clean with extra touches of hospitality and easy communication with host. We weren't able to enjoy the tree house much due to recent pollen season and lights were not working in that area during the evening, but nonetheless we had a great stay and would consider another stay in the future!

Blissful Getaway

The Blissful Bear is full of modernized log cabin charm and provided the peaceful calm we were seeking. The treehouse fireplace and the screened in porch were perfect for enjoying the soothing sounds of the rushing creek, the variety of birds, and a rainstorm. The owners have thought of every last detail to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Definitely planning to stay here again!
