Blacksmiths cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

We are still on a journey of discovery, but its believed that Fortresses Chevalier has links to the Knights Templar. There are a number of historical artefacts which point to this.

Walking, cycling, kayaking in a tranquil setting is on the doorstep. There is a plethora of unspoilt historic villages and towns to explore within easy reach.

The cottage can be booked alongside Blacksmiths apartment (the cottage and apartment have two lockable doors linking them up if required), giving accommodation for up to 8 people. The apartment is suitable for people with reduced mobility.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 2 singles. The master bedroom (double bed), has a Juliet balcony overlooking the inner courtyard with a typically French bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds.

As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. Television and internet access is included. The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a coffee maker and a microwave. Outside there is a BBQ with table and chairs.

The bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.

Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

The swimming pool is open for guests only to enjoy between May and September. It is 4m x 8m and 1.2m deep. It is not heated, but last summer averaged between 26 & 29C.


Secure undercover storage is available for larger items, such as push bikes, motor bikes, top boxes, etc.
