This is a true lakefront house literally right next to the community beach and less than 10 minutes/2.5 miles from Big Boulder Ski Resort. This home is in the heart of the Pocono Mountains in Blakeslee PA near Lake Harmony.

This sprawling Lakefront lodge will feel like home with a fully loaded gameroom where you can enjoy playing pool, shuffleboard, Foosball, air hockey, card games at the bar card table, and many board games. Enjoy a nice evening fire by the lake in two fire pits with plenty of seating for everyone. Take a ride in one of our kayaks from the marina. You can Fish right from the edge of the property directly into the lake. Enjoy TV in every bedroom and living rooms., and an outdoor hot tub set high among the trees on the second story deck, 16 ft patio table, with a propane grill and more! You'll have easy parking to avoid the car shuffling. The house is literally steps from the beach, community playground, pavilion, and more!

IMPORTANT: starter packs of paper goods, toiletries, cleaning chemicals, soaps, detergents, sponges, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, tea, and other kitchen necessities ARE all included with your stay. Sheets and towels ARE included too.

Your rental includes all community fees, beach fees, parking fees, and other fees. There are no hidden charges after your reservation is paid.

Inside the ~3,900 square foot house you will find seven bedrooms - all enclosed with doors - no dens or other spaces pretending to be bedrooms. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs - 2 with king beds and one queen bedroom. Downstairs you will find 4 full bedrooms - 3 bedrooms include 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed, and 1 bedroom includes a bunk bed with a full below and twin above. This lakehouse has it all - a full kitchen with all the usual appliances, living room for TV and gathering, full downstairs game area, huge outdoor deck with a hot tub directly overlooking the beautiful lake, a seating area with lake view in the backyard and much more.

Our lake house, Skiing Bear Lake Front Lodge, is part of Brier Crest Woods Resort. The Following amenities are available next door to the lake house (literally as close as you can get in the community):

The house is very nice and is perfect for large groups. The bedrooms were very nice and clean but the bedrooms and house needs better lighting. The kitchen could use some better drinking glasses and had no wine glasses or teaspoons. we were out most of the time but the air hockey table was broke so kids couldn’t play

Honestly, this place has such amazing potential ---there is a ton of space for a big crowd and it's in a great area...but outside of that, I have nothing positive to say and would never stay here again. It's unclean and unkept, there's so much missed maintenance that it's unsafe and uncomfortable, and the hosts are unprofessional and awful to deal with. I can tell from years of positive reviews that this hasn't always been true--but if you stay here you'll find that these hosts are the type who do not reinvest in their property. They and leave ice makers broken, smoke detectors unplugged, and water filters in need of replacement. There's filth and dirt inside kitchen cabinets and drawers, grime on walls and floors, mold (and used soap) on the shower stalls...and very clear evidence that their cleaners do not turn over all of the beds between guests. Shortly after checking in we found a bottle cap in an unused bed in one of the kids rooms--then we found a prior guest's used filthy underwear in the drawer of the same room. Afterwards we found dirt and droppings in the kitchen cabinets (where the "clean" dishes are kept) and filth in and around all of the utensils. As we looked around we found that the walls, floors, and corners of all the walls were filthy. It was just so incredibly uncomfortable to stay there. It felt gross.Their fix--after taking forever to respond --was to send their same "cleaners" to disrupt our stay. These guys shouldn't be hosting anything, ever.

This place was awesome! We enjoyed it with various friends, and the house had a lot to offer. There was a nice hot tub, fire pit, and plenty of things to do downstairs such as Billards, and air hockey. It was cool to see that they also had an old pay phone too to add to the ambiance. There was a power outage during our stay but Michael communicated swiftly about it. Thanks again!

The house was nice, and the location on the lake is spectacular. Some of the games are a bit worn, like the air hockey table and pool table, so be warned in case they try to charge for that in the future. Additionally, so are some of the couches. I thought most supplies would be included as listed in the description, but we ended up having to buy extra paper towel rolls as the property didn't have any. Also, we didn't seem to find dish soap anywhere and we did have a big group, so we did use the kitchen a lot. Overall, the place was nice for the price and has a lot to do at the house making it a great option. The hot tub is the cherry on top if you like to relax outdoors.

The house was very nice and the community was peaceful. Large bedrooms and great game room. The kitchen area had plenty of space for a family to gather and cook and The view of the lake is gorgeous. There where some small things we noticed that could use work. Some windows don't have screens and the sliding glass doors need some TLC. The game room pool table did not have the correct balls and the air hockey table needs a new puck and was unstable. With that being said we will be booking again next year

The house is great for families, very spacious and clean. Our family of 6 had a great time during our weekend stay. The game room kept kids occupied for hours. The playground and community beach are accessible right next door. We definitively recommend it.

Big 7br house with great game room and everything you need. Closest property to the beach and playground. Kayaks for guest use. A couple things came up and owners responded immediately. Our three generation family had a terrific time.

We ended up being evacuated from another vacation and found this listing after scouring the internet for somewhere to stay that could meet the size of our group. This house helped to salvage what was left of our trip! The owners were very quick to respond. There was some normal wear and tear on the house, but nothing that deterred us during our stay.

Wonderful property! We had a great time at this home which was well-stocked and had great amenities. We enjoyed fishing directly from the property and visited the beach and park multiple times during our stay. The host was very responsive to questions. All in all a delightful experience! Thanks!

I don’t think we’ve ever had such attentive owners. Within 3 minutes of sending a message, we had a reply and a bit later things were sorted. Excellent communication!Even with a full house, including kids, the two bathrooms in the common areas were plenty if anyone is worried. No one ended up waiting eve once.You can’t beat the location! Right next to the beach area with tons for the kids to do. Or, if you want it quieter, walk down the path to the lake. Take a chair, read, dip your feet in, or get a tube and float! Just no “boats” as it’s not the official slip and you and the owner could be penalized. The pool table is well-used but very playable. Cues weren’t trashed and the balls are in decent shape…plenty of chalk! The foosball table was in good shape and shuffleboard table was also well used but had everything in good order. I think you’d be nuts to let rental folks use brand new pristine expensive toys.The hot tub did get water replaced, bromine. Interestingly enough, as a rule, when the control panel only has one button for temp (press it once it goes up, again it goes down) are meant to be pressed and held. Push and hold until desired temp.All the thermostats minus the one by the steps upstairs are heat ONLY, even if not marked.I think you can tell some rough groups stay here, that’s not the owners fault and when we did mention a concern, it was sorted in record time (and we do 2 large rentals a year sometimes!)

Perfect Weekend Retreat

My frat went down for our first annual formal and it was a total blast, the house was perfect, the property owner was very quick in response time when we had questions, and it was very easy checking in. Would totally want to come back this house was amazing!

Loved the house!

My two cousins and a couple of friends stayed here this weekend! We love how big the house is. Multiple bedrooms, we had 9 guys and everyone had their own bed. The oven needs to be replaced and the game room downstairs was awesome. It may need some updating in that room but it was nice having two separate places to hang out as a group. The fire pit is small but it did the job. The hot tub is an awesome feature but struggled to stay above 100 degrees (I’m assuming because of how cold it was). Communication with the hosts was perfect and they responded quickly! Overall we definitely would come back if we had the chance!

Lots of space and perfect location

We had a wonderful experience staying with 4 other families in this house. The 7 bedrooms were all a good size and there was plenty of space for all of the adults and kids to sleep (we had 19 guests). The basement was a perfect hangout spot for the kids where they spent two straight days playing games (pool, air hockey, shuffle board, and cards). The deck has a nice hot tub and a large table for outside dining. Overall, we had a great experience and the hosts were awesome. Their communication and flexibility was outstanding. We hope to stay at this home again this summer so we can use the other amenities and enjoy the lake.
