2/10 – Forferdelig

When I received the email from VRBO saying that our stay was confirmed, I assumed we were all set. I then received additional texts welcoming us to our upcoming "home". But on the day of our stay didn't receive entry information. It turns out that The Landing had to also confirm our stay, including needing me to upload a copy of my drivers license whereas they did a background check. Really? How could I be assured that wasn't an identity theft scam? Being that we had nowhere else to stay, I went a head and did it and after about an hour and multiple calls to The Landing's customer service line, it was all approved and they sent our entry code. Oh, but not just one, one for each day and a different one for entry from the parking garage. They said they had to change it daily unless I downloaded their app. So I downloaded their app, where there was an entirely different code, which didn't work at all. Neither did the parking garage code, so we were back to calling customer service. The apartment was okay but there were stains everywhere, on coach, carpet, chairs. We were given one hand towel, 2 wash clothes and three bath towels for a 4-day stay. Nothing but a sponge in the kitchen. No Kleenexes. Sparse and inconvenient.I could like to support VRBO but this is ridiculous and this may have been the final straw. The communications just have to be better, NOT more often, as they texted me about 100 times but ACCURATE! No thank you.
