Upon arrival, we were assigned a room, but unfortunately, it lacked hot water. Prior to this, we had specifically requested a ground-floor room; however, the front desk clerk informed us that no rooms were available and that this was the only option. As a result, we were unable to bathe. Our four-and-a-half-year-old son stood under cold water for 10 minutes, waiting for it to heat, but we ultimately gave up, and he went to sleep after a long day of skiing without a proper shower.
When I brought this to the clerk’s attention, she offered me keys to a used room so I could shower, and I agreed initially. However, I quickly expressed my anger and made it clear that I was not willing to pay for a room under these circumstances. After about 15 minutes of anger and frustration, miraculously, she found a room—on the ground floor, as we originally requested. However, by that time, it was 10 p.m., and our son was already asleep. We had settled in the upper room without a shower.
