Nestled in the small and quaint coastal village of Biddeford Pool, this beach house has been creating memories for families for several decades. 

The light-filled house is just a three minute walk to the rocky coast or five minute walk to a beautiful two mile sandy beach. Built in 1925, the home comes bursting with history yet features all of today's modern amenities. Once used to house soldiers during World War II with the adjacent house being the mess hall, this home is now used by families to create everlasting memories of an idyllic trip to Maine. 

There is plenty of room for your family to spread out throughout the cheerfully decorated home. The first floor features a large mudroom, two living areas, a spacious kitchen, dining room with seating for 12, laundry area, bathroom, and enclosed sun room. Upstairs you'll find six bedrooms and two newly renovated bathrooms.  The home is a perfect combination of being spacious yet inviting; curl up on the daybed in the enclosed porch, work together on a puzzle, or play a board game.

The living space continues outside with the large deck off of the kitchen and living room. Take advantage of the outdoor space as an option for outdoor dining while listening to the nearby waves crash. Enjoy cocktails outside while lounging in the chairs or playing a yard game on the manicured lawn. Enjoy grilling on the gas grill while the younger guests explore the gardens. Order your fresh steamed lobsters and clams from our nearby Lobster Pound, or grill hamburgers and dine al-fresco.

Spend your days sightseeing or soaking up the sun at the nearby two-mile-long sandy beach. Pack your own sea kayaks of rent them at the nearby shop. Go fishing, sailing, kayaking, hiking, golfing, or play tennis at nearby public places and take in the beautiful Maine coast scenery. With the Audobon trail and rocky South Point Coast within walking distance, there is plenty for you to explore in the beautiful outdoors. 

This home is just a 45 minute drive to Freeport's LL Bean and outlets, 20 minutes to Old Orchard Beach, only a 15 minute drive to Kennebunkport shops, spas and dining, and 25 minute drive to The Old Port in Portland where you will find shops, gourmet food, and activities for the whole family. 

“***Note: Fall rentals are welcome for week-long or weekend getaways. Come enjoy a less busy time of the year and see the changing leaves during one of Maine’s prettiest seasons. Although winterized, only the front three bedrooms have heat and are available for cooler times of the year.
