Weekend break

Our stay at the court was superb 👌 Extremely friendly and attention to details was great. Our room overlooked the river, so no raod noise or any noise at all although it was fully booked. They looked after our vegan and vegetarian needs without hesitation. Would recommend and would definitely revisit.

An excellent guest house
From start to finish we could not have been treated better. In every way the hospitality was superb and nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend to anyone and everyone. Room and food excellent.

A must stay
Our hosts were very warm and friendly. Rooms were very comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast was WOW, absolutely amazing, they even offer a packet lunch which we took advantage of on our last day. Fabulous. Exellent value for money. Would highly recommend.

Very clean and owners are very accomodating, breakfast are preordered and very nice. Had a packed one when we had to leave very early for Snowdon. Easy drive to Llanberis which is where we started our Snowdon hike...

Wonderful Hospitality at the Courthouse.
We stayed at the Courthouse from June 17 to June 19,2019. We had a wonderful experience there hospitality was wonderful. When we arrived we’re offered coffee & Tea and dessert. Courthouse very centralize to everything a short walk into Betws-y-coed. In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast at the Courthouse.

Charming B&B
What a charming B&B🙏🙏 Richard was a great host. Everything was perfect. Our favorite was sitting in the garden overlooking the river. Very peaceful.

We were moved to another place without any contact from Courthouse or Expedia. Very poor customer service especially as we phoned to confirm the reservation two days ago

Dear Keith, we would like to offer our sincere apologies for having to relocate you at such short notice, and for the lack of communication from Expedia. The problem was caused by a glitch in our booking system which showed the room as being available when in fact it was already booked. ( we have a 2 night minimum stay policy during high season) We reported the problem to Expedia as soon as we discovered it on Thursday morning and advised them that we had already arranged accommodation for you at a 4 star guest house just 400 yards away, giving them all the details. We were led to believe that they would inform you immediately, which, as our booking agent, was clearly their responsibility. We were therefore shocked when you arrived to check in as they had, regrettably, not contacted you. We are taking this up with Expedia and we regret not having contacted you directly. We trust that in spite of this unfortunate inconvenience, your accommodation was satisfactory. Once again our sincere apologies. Kind regards Richard & Tanya

The Courthouse is nicely situated in Betws y Coed. A short walk to good food, drinks and shopping, but not on the main road through town. The owners of the B&B are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is served in a lovely room overlooking the garden. Our room was very comfortable.

Small double room in the courthouse!!
Owners were very helpful. Small double was very small -old jail cell literally. Was very claustraphobic. Needs to be reduced as virtually same as other rooms pricewise!@

Room was nice and the hospitality as expected. I was passing though on business so perhaps not perfectly suited to my needs as all of the local restaurants and pubs stopped serving at 21:00 - though it was Sunday so this should be taken into consideration.

Location is great, however, there wasn't a proper shower in our room, it was totally useless which changed the entire stay. Also the proprietor was rude to my wife on the last day due to a misunderstanding around breakfast.

Great stay, nice owners, friendly guests!
Stayed at the courtyhouse for two nights while we did the Mount Snowdon Climb for charity. Richard was charming and pleasant. The hotel stay was superb. The Breakfast perfect and the setting just wonderful. Had a lovely chat with him on a few occasions. He gave many useful tips and pointers on the Snowdon climb (the Courthouse is a 20 minute drive from Snowdon). Even the other guests were friendly. We had a good conversation after breakfast. WiFi did not reach my room but you could access from the recention area.

We had a very warm welcome at The Courthouse. We were offered a cup of tea in the beautiful garden overlooking the river, this was served with a delicious slice of chocolate brownie cake. Our room was beautiful. The breakfast was served in the conservatory and it was so beautifully presented and very tasty. We would recommend the Courthouse to all our friends and family. Nice, pleasant BnB for a short, relaxing break. Hosts were helpful on getting oriented to the immediate area which is beautiful. Able to walk to and from the train station as well as the local businesses and restaurants.
