This 2 story colonial home is centrally located in the Ocean Pines Community.  Safe, family friendly community with access to numerous pools, boat dock, multiple restaurants, walking paths & golf!  No more than 10 miles from Ocean City Beach and a short distance from Assateague Island! Full kitchen equipped with toaster oven, waffle iron, ice maker along with blender and dishwasher. This coastal retreat is perfect for a family weekend getaway or a couples vacation!

Ocean Pines associations pools must be purchased from tenants. You will need a copy of lease and ID. You can find all the information on their amenities on their website ocean pines dot org. Linens are included!

Ocean Pines community is one of the Eastern Shores most popular destinations. It has their own boat ramps, Yacht club, multiple pools, playgrounds and nature trails. It also allows for parking in Ocean City but this does come with an additional fee. For more information on the community go to their community page at Ocean Pines dot org. Linens are included!

Please note that this community does not allowing outdoor fire pits. All guest interested in reserving must sign both a rental agreement and a check in form to secure your stay! The rental agreement is the same as the house rules you will see in the listing and the check in form is letting us know names and ages of those staying at property along with uploading a license. This is required and not optional. Bikes are available for rent via 3rd party company at a 30% discount to all Karsons Keys guest. Inquire directly to host. Linens are included!

Feel free to enjoy a run, walk or bike ride in the community. If going to Ocean City, MD beaches, you are approx. 7-9 miles drive. Ocean Pines also has a ferry that goes back and forth to Ocean City for a nice ride via the Assawoman Bay! Bike & pack N play rentals available. Inquire with host. Linens are included!

Quiet and Quaint!

This property was perfect for us as it gave us the quiet and calm that a home should, but still within minutes of beach and all that Ocean City has to offer. Groceries, drug store, gas, and other items are just outside the community, so that made it easy to grab essentials in and out each day. Kim was great too, easy to get a hold of and checked in on us before and after the stay.

Okay

So, these are just my opinions and impressions. I'm not an expert but I had higher expectations on a few things. Me personally I did not mind the older style decor. It reminded me of my grandparents house. But it can definitely use some updates. The cabinets stuck and were hard to open. The place was surface clean, but to me a dust pile on the kitchen fan was one of the indicators that maybe a deep clean was needed. There were plenty of plates and utensils. I was a tiny bit surprised that there's no regular toaster and no garbage bags or extra paper towels are provided. I really appreciated the ability to check in early and check out late to better fit our schedule. Thanks. I was a bit surprised the sheets were not put on the beds for us. The beds were uncomfortable to us. But maybe thats a personal preference. It also syruck me as odd thar only 5 channels were accessible by cable, but luckily we had our streaming apps to make up for it. The house was very convenient to the beach and area. Overall it was nothing spectacular, but it was a decent place to stay.

Outdated, no essentials but very nice home

The inside is outdated and some flaws. Very clean though. Other people's belongings are throughout the house, like it was bought from an estate sale and thrown up for a rental. No essentials such as toilet paper, soap or trash bags. However, the area is very very nice. The neighbors were friendly. Close to the beach and the beach pass was a huge plus. If it was updated and they accommodated us with the bare essentials as everywhere else we had stayed does, I would give it 5 stars. As it sits, it's still a nice place but they could rent it for cheaper.
