Perfect for families and groups! Our charming, cozy cabin is located in Benzonia on 80 acres with a private lake, fire pit, beautiful sunsets and plenty of space to spread out.
You’ll love it because we are just minutes Lake Michigan, Frankfort, Crystal Mountain, prime fishing, the Betsie River and all that Northern Michigan has to offer.

The space
Our cabin has 2 bedrooms, a loft, full kitchen, and beautiful sunroom surrounded on 3 sides with windows…perfect for watching the wildlife on a quiet evening or enjoying family game night. Our cabin is family/group friendly. It has the warmth of a lake house with the conveniences of home and space to enjoy all your favorite activities. The aesthetic is cozy and simple and you will find it the perfect place for you and your loved ones during your stay in Northern Michigan!

Our KITCHEN and DINING ROOM provide all that you would need for family dinners or cookouts by the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you need to dine-in including:

+coffee maker and coffee
+teapot and tea
+dinner and drink-ware
+sundries
+outdoor charcoal grill available

The eating area is right off the kitchen in our open floor plan. Additionally, there is an outdoor picnic table for cookouts and lunches while enjoying the lake or firepit.

As you enter our LIVING ROOM area you will see plenty of space to relax and unwind, whether enjoying a movie in the TV AREA or chatting around the hearth or playing a game.

The TV is equipped a DVD player and there are DVDs available to watch. There are also several board games available.

The SUNROOM is accessible through both sets of sliding glass doors as you move through the living room areas. Enjoy our bench couch seating for an afternoon nap or cozy up with your favorite book. The view of the lake and the serenity as breeze passes though the 3-seasons room make this a favorite vacation spot. As night falls, this room is perfect for family charades or recapping the day. Should you have little ones who head to bed early, the sliding doors are perfect sound barriers to keep noise separated in the house.

As you walk out the back sliding doors to the WRAP-AROUND DECK, there is ample seating. We also have 2 picnic tables which you are free to move to the lawn. Please just place them back when you leave.

The steps lead to the spring-fed, 2 acre lake and diving board. There is a sandy area for playing and sunbathing and the water is cool and refreshing. Another favorite pass-time is catch and release fishing. The blue gill will literally jump on your hook and never seem to tire of any type of bait. We also have small and large mouth bass (please release them after catching!) as well as turtles and frogs. As a caution the turtles love to chase bait too...and can be damaged by hooks. So please watch out for them!

The several acre field is perfect for a pick-up game of kickball or frisbee…and catching fireflies during the summer months. As evening settles in, the firepit is ideal for roasting marshmallows and s’more making…and campfire songs certainly add to the ambiance. On a clear evening, look up! Most nights you can see at least a couple shooting stars. You may even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights, if luck and timing are on your side.

BEDROOM 1 is on the left as you enter the cabin. There is a full-size bed, dresser and closet space. The washer and dryer are also located in a closet in this room.

BEDROOM 2 is off the living room space to the right and overlooks the field. On a summer evening, hundreds of fireflies can be seen from this bedroom. There is:

Access to LOFT is to the right from the entrance. A loft ladder provides access to:

The BATHROOM is clean and bright. There is a shower/bathtub, plenty of counterspace and access to towels and beach towels. You are provided with luxury soaps, shampoo and conditioner.
We also have a hairdryer for your use.
