A wonderful Christmas at Qii House

We loved our stay at Qii house, exactly what we needed for R&R together and celebrating Christmas. Being amongst the forest and wildlife was incredibly relaxing. Thank you Heather for your very warm and generous welcome gift and great communication. Our Qii house Christmas will be one to remember for a very long time.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality/ gift. The house itself was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, our experience at Qii ,was unforgettable, and we can’t wait to return. A beautiful lovingly managed garden

A wonderful and unique home away from home - with every aspect of the house, garden and paths carefully thought through and creatively delivered by Heather. She should be rightfully very proud of her Q2 creation as a beautiful place for friends and families to enjoy nature and all the Otways has to offer. Very generous and appreciated hamper and assortment of lovely bathroom things. A few suggestions: (i) more emphasis on biodiversity conservation and planting of natives in the garden to raise awareness and enjoyment; (ii) perhaps a bit less emphasis on the wellness theme - many will benefit from the direct connection with nature without the wellness guidance. Overall and fantastic place. Many thanks Heather - wish we could have had an opportunity for a longer chat and exchange. With best wishes, Jeremy

Family vacay

We would like to thank Heather for the very warm welcome. Q11 is such a beautiful place with an even more beautiful surrounding. It will be an Easter we will never forget. Highly recommended! Definitely on our list to visit again.

One word - Awesome

An awesome place to just relax and enjoy everything around you. So much to do around you thay you do not need to leave. We were two families and enjoyed our stay at Qii house. Everything was as described. Heather was great and excellent communication. We enjoyed the walks around and sitting on the deck listening and watching all the wildlife around us. We took the short drive to Erskine falls as well as out to the beach. It's the best of both worlds. Definitely recommend and we will be back too.

LOVED IT! Like nothing I've ever experienced before.

WOW - this is the most unique home I have ever stayed in. Loved the forest setting, the nature walks around the home, the huge deck with the pizza oven and the hot outdoor shower. My favourite place was the outdoor bathhouse - so relaxing. I had such a good weekend here with my seven friends, and a big thank you to Heather for the gourmet hamper/wine on arrival. Loved every minute and will be recommending this stay to everyone I know.

Tranquil stay

My friends and I had the most wonderful time at Qii. The fireplace, the gorgeous style, and the goodies for each guest were just a few of our favourite things. Heather was a lovely host, who showered us with wine and goodies! The sunset each night was spectacular, with the option to view through a telescope! We especially loved the walk around the property, which is secluded and magical. I’ve not stopped talking about the place, and now have to bring everyone I know! Thank you Heather, for sharing your beautiful ECO lodge with us.

Lovely Heather <3

This house was in a fantastic spot and was a great size for our stay. Really enjoyed staying at the property. The view is incredible and there is plenty of space for a big family to sleep and hang out. The most surprising part is the outdoor bath and spa in cold weather;) Heather was a loving, artistic and responsible host who is always available. Highly recommend this property, especially in the warmer months.

A beautiful weekend

The house and property were amazing. Even better in person than in the photos. Heather was a lovely host providing many thoughtful extras to complement our stay. The art and furnishings were unique and funky. Heather has a great eye for design. We enjoyed a hot bath outside in the rainforest and the walking track. Would love to stay again

Misty forest dream

Amazing and evolving forest hideaway with beautiful 70's modernist period house. Great walks around and on the property. Will be excited to return. Keep the woodstove burning and settle in for an Otway dream time.

we were fortunate to spend a short break at Qii house. It was the most wonderful breath of fresh air that was a truly restorative experience. we strongly recommend spending time at this beautiful eco-retreat. absolutely plan to return!

Heaven on Earth.

It was nice to be tech free and reconnect with nature. If you’re staying in the colder climates then a tip to sleep upstairs as heat rises and it was certainly cosy up there. My only regret is not staying longer. This is the perfect sanctuary to disconnect from all tech and be with loved ones or be one with yourself. Heather is a wonderful person and excellent host. Highly recommend

Brilliant experience

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and loved the outdoor surroundings, huge decking with fresh air. The overall experience was good. It would be better to have blinds in both bathrooms for privacy.

The property is located approx 30 mins drive from Lorne and surrounded by beautiful forest. We loved the house which has so many different spots for sitting, eating and reading. The decor is original and very comfortable. We didn’t want to leave.,,
