Relaxing Executive Condo at Big Bear Resort - Kentucky Lake views

Located in the private Treetops community at Big Bear Resort, this condominium is the perfect "escape" for adults--Start the day with a fresh-brewed cup of coffee from the Keurig coffee maker and watch the morning sunrise. In the afternoon, select a book from the den secretary and curl up with it on the adjacent deck, while enjoying a picturesque view of Kentucky Lake and Big Bear Resort Marina. In the evening, grill out with your favorite steak, and bask in the glow of the setting sun while enjoying your dessert by the heat of the lava rock gas firepit. Round out the evening with a game of pool, gather around the spacious dining room table with a favorite board game, watch a movie in the comfortable den by a cozy fireplace, take a leisurely walk along the drive down to the Big Bear Resort private beach and marina, or relaxing stroll through the adjacent campground to watch the sunset. Retire for the evening to one of two executive-sized bedrooms with blackout curtains containing a TV / DVD player in each room. Enjoy the Big Bear Resort seasonal amenities: private beach with firepit, community pool, basketball court, volleyball, shuffleboard, tetherball, marina with boat launch, and fish-cleaning station. Big Bear Resort Marina features fuel, bait and tackle sales, as well as bass and crappie fishing guide service, pontoon boat and golf cart rental, and private boat launch. Explore the Paducah Quilt Museum, Land between the Lakes Elk & Bison Prairie, Woodlands Nature Station, The Homeplace historic farm, and Golden Pond Planetarium; or check out the largest creme pies and bread baked in clay pots at Patti's 1880's Settlement in Grand Rivers, take in a show at the Badgett Playhouse, or the nearby Kentucky Opry in Draffenville. Mini golf, go-cart, pontoon boat rentals are also available in nearby towns. Neighboring community park features pavilions with charcoal grills, picnic tables, and community boat launch.

Family Gathering

This is our second stay at this location, and we just love it! Everything is so clean and makes you feel at home! We love to use the pool table and deck! It's a short walk to the swimming pool, and it is well maintained and clean. We 5/5 recommend this location! Plus the owners are super nice as well!

Big Bear condo

We would like to thank our hosts for a great place to stay for the week. Everyone enjoyed our time while there, and it was great to have everything thought through for us as guests. Communication with the host before hand was excellent. And their property was better than described. Personally, I would suggest this for anyone wanting to get away, and enjoy the relaxing environment and all the amenities that big Bear resort and Kentucky lake have to offer. 5 stars all around. Also, the gift basket was lovely and much appreciated.

Family weekend

We enjoyed ourselves immensely! The hosts David and Diane really have a beautiful condo and there wasnt a thing they didnt think of that was included to make your stay as comfortable as being in your own home. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, great location and had everything you could think of and more. If you forgot something, no worries, it was there. They welcomed us with a personalized gift basket which was sooo thoughtful and were readily available at all times if you had any questions. We had a relaxing, memorable weekend with family. Great time

As we entered there was a great big basket full of goodies. It was a great welcome! From the pictures I thought the beach was a litttle closer, but it wasn't a long walk. We spent most of the time at the pool because the beach was not as sandy as we expected. The condo was beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed and more! The best was the interaction between David, the host, and us. He was overboard on accommodating us on our stay! I highly recommend this location.

Comfy Lake House!

This home has everything a guest could want! Plenty of room to spread out, well-appointed kitchen, low-tech entertainment options (pool table, books, etc.), lots of comfy seating, space to work, great wi-fi, nice TV...not to mention the lake view, swimming pool, and marina. I appreciate the fact the hosts provide absolutely everything needed for a comfortable stay!

The home was as advertised. It was clean and nicely appointed. The Big Bear Marina was close by. You can rent a boat there to go out on Kentucky Lake. Restaurants are close enough with many options. We would visit again.

AMAZING AND ACCOMMODATING!!

What a warm & delightful place to stay, with all the comforts of home! Any kitchen utensil one could possibly need (and more!) are available in the spacious and easy to use kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms are are stocked with all the linens one could need, in abundance! The back deck with its electric, retractable awning is a lovely spot to spend a cool summer morning and moonlit summer evening. The gas grill is perfect for grilling up a tasty meal! The check in & check out processes are perfectly seamless, and communication with the owner is virtually instantaneous. The location is easy to get in and out of, and the neighborhood is quiet. Having rented quite a few places to stay in our travels, this one is by far THE BEST!!! We are so very appreciative to the owners for such a lovely experience, and cannot wait to go again! (PS. The decorator touches in this home are second to none!!).

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this Big Bear Lake condo, hosted by David. The view of Kentucky Lake is spectacular, and the location is convenient to all the lake side activities, such as boating/skiing/swimming, volleyball, pool, and walking trails. The home is so beautifully decorated, welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing. The beds are comfortable and have plenty of pillows. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking and sharing a meal. We enjoyed our coffee on the view deck each morning. There are restaurants and convenience/gas stations just a few miles away. Booking and check-in were smooth, as was checking out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again in the future.
