Riverfront Condo - Pet Friendly Near Downtown

Summary:

This condo is perfectly nestled in next to the Deschutes River, not far from the heart of downtown Bend. Grab your drink of choice and sit out on the furnished patio to enjoy stunning views of the river! With a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, 2 queen beds and a pull out couch, up to 6 guests can settle in for your high desert vacation. Bring along 2 pets for an additional fee. Revel in access to the indoor heated pool and hot tub from 9:00 AM-10:00 PM daily!



Guest Access:

The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There is a laundry room on the property, which is open from 9am-10pm daily, same goes as the pool.



This is a 2nd floor unit, there are steps required to access the unit.

Getting Around:

You are on the edge of downtown Bend, so once you get here you don't necessarily need to use your car. Everything you need is in walking distance.



Other Things to Note:

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility.



This condo is pet-friendly. There will be an additional pet fee of $69, limit of 2 pets for this unit.



The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.

Bend Riverside Rentals manages more than 40 privately owned riverfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

Super cute little place!! Worked out well for my family of four plus our four legged pal!! The kids loved looking out at the fish ladder and Dam on the river and the big TV in the living room. The pool was an added bonus and got plenty of use by my kiddos too. I only had a few complaints with our stay over all. Our check in was troublesome when we got into town as I had been contacted earlier by staff asking when we would be in town, in hopes that they would have the room cleaned. I had no problem with this since if they weren't finished, I wouldn't have been pushy and would have waited. As it was, we got into town after 7pm and the office was closed. I had no other information from the staff on how to get into our room, and when I sent a message via Vrbo, I wasn't getting a response, so I ended up contacting Vrbo customer service and they were able to get a hold of the after hours staff for the office. When I was finally contacted by someone from the office, they informed me that Friday was the night that staff works remotely from the office. Knowing this, I feel they should have just sent me an email letting me know all of the information that I needed to get into the room instead of having to make phone calls and keep my kids waiting longer after being in the car for a 3.5hr drive to Bend. I expected to hear from a staff member during our time there, but never did either. We didn't need anything thankfully, but I feel like they dropped the ball on communication

Some of our issues were due to the unit being older. We heard the folks above us walking constantly. The hot water took a very long time to come up to temp. A couple issues not due to age would be. The kitchen floor was very dirty. The cable stopped working on day one so we had local tv only. The tv's were very dated and fuzzy. The positives were, the bed was awesome, the view was spctacular. The balcony was nice to sit on and watch the river. This unit is very close to most anything you would want to due during your stay.

Great river view!

I like this a whole lot better than a hotel because it had a full kitchen and a privacy bedroom as well as a sleep area in the main pretty large living area.

Perfect Location

We decided to head to Bend to enjoy some good weather and we found Larch Madness last minute and boy did we luck out! We wanted to stay close to downtown. Have a pool for our kids to play in. And have plenty of space for sleeping and a dog friendly place. This had it all. We walked all day every day we were there and really enjoyed being right next to the Deschutes River Trail. Food and downtown was a 10 min walk. It was great. Hopefully we’ll be back and I would give this place a try if you are also looking for a place close to downtown.

Great Location

This is right on the river. We loved the access to the river trail as well as the pool and hot tub for relaxing after a long bike ride. The building is older but is nicely decorated and maintained. All our needs for a short Bend trip were met for our family of 4.

Not very clean noisy neighbor upstairs

Location is nice because it is central to downtown easy parking and walking. Property is dated but ok. Plan was to be out and about which we were. Unit itself was cleaned poorly prior to our arrival. Crumbs and spills in the refrigerator. The last glued to the roll paper towel left on existing roll. Not a big deal changed it ourselves. The bathroom with the shower only I doubt was cleaned at all prior to us. The foil topper to toothpaste in the shower, shaved hair remnants on the ledge, remaining spilled bright orange shampoo on the seat. Garbage behind the garbage can (daily contact lens wrapper, pill wrappers on the floor. No liner in the garbage can but tossed in the bottom. The last 4 squares of toilet paper left in both bathrooms as the hanging roll. Huge deal? No, but with the increased cleaning costs attached to rentals yes. The people that are in the unit above nightly were home after 10 pm and literally stomped across the floor back and forth from kitchen to deck area until after midnight 1 am. This was not simple squeaks but thumps, stomps, things dropping. Unsure if these are tenants or short term renters but it was to the point that we had to use the back bedroom to sleep because it was so loud. Overall, good location, cleanliness less than par, front desk check in was kind and helpful. Would likely not stay here again.

Lovely weekend getaway!

A rough among diamonds

Great location. Place was tidy. Great little kitchen. Great place for pet owners and families that aren’t picky. However, be warned: Heating units in living room and bedroom are very loud, and kept us up at night. Water pressure in second bathroom was painfully (no exaggeration) high coming out of the shower head, which is a safety issue. We ended up using the other shower, which was much better. Cable TV only at this place (no smart TV for streaming and no DVD player) and the cable reception was terrible (very grainy and spotty). You’ll hear your neighbors above walking around. “Spa” was under construction during our visit so hotub and sauna were not available. Heated pool was open and functional. Pool was dirty and needs a good cleaning.
