The Neighborhood:
Gate 3 of Sudden Valley—family-friendly, tree-lined streets. Cascade Park is a short walk. Lake access, marina, and beaches are near Gate 1; Community Center (Gate 2) has pool & fitness via affordable day passes.
Getting Around:
~15 minutes to Bellingham & Fairhaven. Day trips: Mount Baker, Chuckanut Drive, San Juan Islands, Vancouver BC. Car recommended.
Other Things to Note:
•Dogs: up to 2 house-trained dogs (no cats). $35 per dog per night. Include pups in booking; keep off furniture/beds. No unattended dogs at the home. Pet fee added via quick alteration after booking.
•Firewood: bring a couple bundles of dry firewood + kindling for prime fires. We do provide firewood as well.
•Arrival info: directions, codes, house details sent before arrival.
•Check-in/out: no early check-ins or late check-outs; if we’re ready before 4 pm, we’ll message you.
