Perfect getaway before back to school!

The Shanty Creek property had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time away from home. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The fire pit and hot tub were the perfect way to end a long day on the lake.

This property was clean, spacious, and had plenty of 'extras' throughout the house. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the view overlooking the golf course. It was a quick drive to skiing and dining. Great spot!

Beautiful Property!

This was a perfect house for a family ski trip to Schuss Mountain. We had more than enough space and the house had so much to offer our group. We loved the house and location. Having our own hot tub after a ski day was such an added bonus. Definitely recommend and we can't wait to go back.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time with our family. The house was well-equipped with basic cooking needs. The location was perfect. We especially loved the beach club that we used almost every day. Grocery store, fun shopping in Bellaire and Shorts were all an easy drive.

While the property was very nice, the jacuzzi took a great while to heat up, and the indoor climate was very cold for all of us. Overall it was a good stay!!

Golf trip with high school buddies and couple of dads. Enjoyed the stay. Neighbors were a little too close for late night campfires so we played poker inside. A lot of room. I think they all liked it. Would stay again

Winter Winderland

This was our second year at the property. It is incredibly spacious, super clean, has a fabulous hot tub, fire pits, great sitting areas on the main and basement levels, pizza oven, and you can even sled with the kiddos in the backyard. Less than 10 minutes away from Schuss Mountain.!!!! Will be back again as soon as we can!!! One of the very best VRBO’s we have ever stayed at as a family!!!

Beautiful surroundings

Home is lovely, and amenities were good too. Only issue was the WiFi kept going out and we needed to reset if often. Might suggest Spectrum install a new router. Otherwise everything was nice. Had almost everything we needed.

The water pressure and heat of the water were amazing. I could not figure out how to cool down the rooms upstairs. We srt it to 68 and they stayed at 75 the entire time. The fireplace would go on for no reason and when we first arrived, some of the wall outlets were not working.

Our stay

Beautiful place. Great for 4 golfers and their wives. Great view of the 7th hole. Kitchen was well stocked. Only problem was air conditioning. It was on all the time. Something wrong with thermostat. No ac reached the bunk room so that room was very stuffy. Overall it was a great place to stay!!!
