With four comfortable bedrooms plus an office with a convertible day bed; 3.5 baths; efficient and equipped kitchen & dining room, both with eating areas; extensive deck areas; pine shiplap ceilings, two fireplaces, laundry facilities, and an appealingly open floor plan but still private spaces when needed; this vacation space is everything you’re looking for! Located in the heart of the Back 40 Bike Trails, there are mountain biking trails all around. Bikes are safe in the enclosed garage when not in use. Swim when it's hot in the man-made lake, then play games, solve world problems, or just relax at the deck table with your compatriots, or around the firepit below on the ground level. Spend the evening - or early morning, or any time of day - enjoying the views of the lake, the wildlife, and the feeling of being lost in nature.
Cook on the grill, find one of the myriad restaurants in the area, or enjoy a picnic. Anything’s possible, and pleasant, at this delightful lake house home away from home!
NOTE: Please follow checkout instructions before departing; they’re in the guestbook on the counter, and very basic, but so helpful! Also, due to the frequency and expense of occurrence, there will be a base charge of $25 to return items left behind by guests. Please, check all rooms for personal belongings before you go! IMPORTANT: Because this home is in a quiet neighborhood on a winding road, parking on the road is NOT allowed. Vehicles are limited to what will fit in the property space - usually no more than 5. Gatherings of more than the maximum 14 registered guests are NOT allowed without express permission and arrangements with the owners. Please do not bring non-registered guests for gatherings here. Outdoor quiet is expected after 11 p.m. We love our neighbors and respect their needs and wishes, so we expect our guests to be kind to them as well. If we receive reports that these rules are not being followed, you will receive a call or text. A second contact may result in eviction without refund, so please don't make this happen!
