The Suwannee River Manor is located West of Gainesville Florida. Situated on a peaceful 10-acre property surrounded by a beautiful landscape of large canopy trees and on the shores of the historic Suwannee River. The six-bedroom, four-bathroom, 4,000 square foot house sits on a quiet and private landscape and offers plenty of space for your friends and family to stay. Located minutes away from the many natural springs in the area and just 30 minutes to the Gulf.
This is our first STR listing, and we look forward to hosting you!

We had a great time kayaking the local springs. We loved coming home every evening to this spacious home on the Suwannee River. The 6-bedroom house was clean with a well-equipped kitchen, large bedrooms, and comfortable beds. The wraparound porch offers beautiful views for enjoying our morning coffee. Our host quickly answered any questions we had. Our kayaking group would be glad to stay here again.

The property was absolutely stunning. It was a perfect fit for our big family. I would certainly give this property an excellent review. There should be a little bit more seating in the living room area if you have a big family. The house is located on the river so there are many steps steps to get into the house and steps of course to get to the second floor so if you have any issues with hips, feet, etc. be prepared it may take you a little bit longer to get in and out. Overall it was clean, accommodating with a beautiful view. We will definitely be back.

Family Christmas Gathering

We chose this spot for a Family Christmas celebration based on it’s distance from multiple households (coming from FL & GA). It was perfect for large families to spend quality time together, but also so much space that it provided lots of privacy too. All of the rooms were of generous size- especially the upstairs master! The wrap around porches on both levels were great! Nice to be able to walk out from the master & see everyone by the fire pit or the river down below. It is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we were looking for. The property is large with lots of cool trees and areas to explore and we enjoyed the fire pits on cold nights. The host went out of the way to decorate when we asked about Christmas decorations & we sincerely appreciated that. The dining area & table was large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. The kitchen could use some better/additional pots, pans, utensils & coffee pot. The water smelled bad/‘eggy’ in the kitchen, but worse in the master bath.I could list lots of little wonky things around the house, but overall it kind of just added to it’s charm. Don’t go expecting luxury, but it is comfortable, clean, reasonably stocked & in a great secluded location! Thank you & Merry Christmas!

Great family gathering location

This property offers a beautiful view, peaceful atmosphere and plenty of room to spread out. The house was charming, clean and well outfitted for a rental property. I highly recommend relaxing with a coffee on the porch and watching the river go by.

Husband’s 50th Birthday

This was an amazing home on a wonderful piece of property. The trip was for my husband’s 50th and friends family were coming from out of state and Fl. There was plenty of room to accommodate everyone. The bedrooms were all good sized and plenty of bathrooms. I was impressed with how clean the house was. We spent most noontime on the beautiful wraparound porch off the main floor. There was an identical porch on the 2nd floor. The lot had room for the kids to run and play. The view of the river was fabulous. The hosts were beyond amazing! They were responsive and accommodating. We were there when Hurricane Debby was coming through and they were kind enough to allow us to check out later if needed. We were checking out the morning the storm made landfall. I would definitely rent this home again!! All of my guests agreed this was a great place to relax and unwind. I have rented many vacation homes and this one I actually spent the majority of my trip at the house and not out. Loved every minute there!!

Large, secluded home on the river

This home is a large home with spacious rooms on a beautiful and rustic wooded property on the Suwannee River. We had a large family gathering with 6 individuals/families, so the 6 bedrooms were perfect. The host was very responsive and friendly. The only disappointment was that I requested use of the elevator because I had surgery on my foot and was going to be non-weight-bearing during our stay. I found out while we were driving there that the elevator company hadn't been out to reset the elevator and it wouldn't be available, so I ended up having to scoot backwards up the wooden stairs in the rain on my behind, and then scoot back down when I left. It rained a lot during our stay, so every time I went out or in I got really wet and dirty. The hosts were very apologetic and offered compensation, but as the situation seemed out of their control we declined. But if you need the use of the elevator, check before your visit to make sure it's in good working order. All in all, we enjoyed the house and would definitely visit again if we're back in the area.

Multi-family vacay

We stayed here with a big group and there was plenty of room for everybody. Located on the river, a boat ramp is close by, there are many springs to visit, and not a bad drive to the ocean. We would stay there again

Springs Trip

Great location on river with amazing views. The house was huge and all bedrooms very spacious which made for a comfortable stay for all. 25 min drive to Ichetucknee SP. Only complaint is the house is big enough for 16 people if you use all the bed space, but the main living area only has one couch and 1 chair. Needs more seating for large groups to be able to hang in same area in the evening. In the cooler months it wouldn’t be an issue, but the extreme heat wave kept us in the AC quite a bit. My bad for booking in Aug. Lol.

Peaceful Stay on Suwannee

Suwannee Recap

The plantation style home was tastefully furnished & decor was also in good taste. It would have been nice to have use of the elevator for the older folks & moving belongings in and out of the house. The kitchen wasn't adequately equipped with enough pots, pans, and utensils. Having paper goods in the hall closet was definitely appreciated. We did however, make a trip into town for aluminum foil & saran wrap. The person limitation on the dock was a disappointment as was having a nice fire area with no wood to burn. This also necessitated a trip into town. Thank you for the opportunity to leave this review.

Amazing house on Suwannee River

We had a great family getaway at this beautiful house right on the Suwannee river, lots To do in the area, enjoying the springs nearby. Plenty of room for a large group(12). Loved fishing off the dock and keeping warm around the fire pit. Very please with owner communication when we had any questions. Thanks for the stay.

Way Down Upon The Suwanee River - Kindall & This House 10/10

This was an excellent vacation rental. The house was beautiful- exactly as the photos and description showed. All of the rooms are very spacious, and the beds & furniture were all very comfortable. The big dining room table saw many meals & games with our friends, and sitting on that porch watching the rain & the river in the evenings was perfect. We brought our dogs who ran around and explored the big yard, so they loved it as well. We live in downtown Jacksonville, and this was just what we needed. There are dirt/sand roads to get to the house, so I recommend an SUV or truck. Bring your groceries with you, including seasoning. And take a trip to itchetucknee or ginnie springs while you’re here. Kindall was so helpful & responsive the entire time. Loved it.

Absolutely stunning!

The property looked too good to be true, but in this case it was everything that was promised and more! The house is gorgeous and the furnishings were lovely. To say this house was HUGE would be doing a disservice. Even with 12 of us there we never felt cramped. The biggest bedrooms I've seen and the setting is very quiet and secluded. Perfect for a family and/or friends get together. Kindall and Zach were very responsive to all communication. Our big family hopes to return in the future.
