Munkene må ha hatt det bedre enn sitt rykte!
Første gang på an Pousada, og det ga virkelig mersmak. Fin måte å ivareta slike objekter, og i tillegg var det topp service

One of the very best!
Friendly and efficient service, good food, wonderful building, garden and pool area. One complaint: In early june the AC was still in winter mode resulting in the room being too hot for us northernes.

So much history
Beautiful hotel stunning building so many unusual seating areas. Restaurant was so lovely we ate in the hotel to enjoy it which we rarely do. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great location as a base to do the town and visit surrounding area.

A wonderful place to stay in the heart of Beja
This converted convent is a wonderplace to stay, and right in the heart of Beja. The room was very quiet; the breakfast was wonderful. Our only complaints are that the bed is extremely hard, and the room smells like an old hospital room.

Beautiful posada centrally located in old convent. Spacious and well-appointed rooms, comfortable beds, lovely bathroom. Excellent and very full breakfast buffet, dinner food and service sub-par. Reception upon arrival a bit cold

As it was an old monastery, the feeling of the 750 year old is still impressive. The rooms have been modernized with individual bathrooms etc. but it still has the feel of the old original feeling with its large curved ceilings and the reception is the entrance to the old original Church. As it is an old monastery, note that it does not look like any of the modern hotels, it is by the police station. Very quiet in the evenings, I could hear a pin drop, I only wished I had more time to explore the whole hotel. I will have to visit there again.

Detta är inte ett hotell. Det är en upplevelse.
Helt fantastiskt från personalen till lokalen. Hotellet är ett gammalt kloster med en bibehållen känsla av lugn. Dessutom finns allt en modern resenär kan önska sig. Personalen var helt fantastisk. Från Ines på frukosten (som var väldigt bra) till Ines i receptionen. Personalen var överlag professionell och trevlig. Men de två Ines var ett strå vassare. Deras leenden och uppträdande var otvunget glatt och gjorde vår dag.

Second time at this pousada. Love it. Even when cold outside, had to sleep with the window open. Too hot and unable to alter the temperature on air conditioning.

Lovely Accommodation
It's a great location to base youself, for exploring Beja. It's only a 10 minute walk to the castle. The communal areas are cavernous and the garden with the pool is inviting.

A Very Special Place
Fantastic converted Nunnery from the 12th Century—frescoed vaulted ceilings, besutiful grounds, amazing, cavernous common areas for lounging. A lovely and comfortable bedroom—where nuns once slept! This is a very beautiful, very special place. I was on a bicycle but if you have a car it is worth going out of your way to stay! Super super staff! Loved everything!

Peaceful and comfortable.
Impressive conversion - nice hotel to simply wander around. Room was a bit basic - but well done and comfortable. Good food and conveniently sited. Will stay here again if I am in the area. Surprisingly quiet & peaceful given its location right in the middle of the town. Nice looking pool area. Impressive public rooms and a really nice covered cloister set round a little garden.

Sejour dans un lieu chargé d'histoire et dans un cadre Tres calme pour etre situé a l'interieur de beja. Visite de beja a pied depuis l'hotel sans efforts. Eau de la piscine un peu fraiche a la mi octobre.
