It was soo noise, the rooms next to me the people were staying in there we’re fighting all the time 24/7 I couldn’t even sleep at all I complained a lot to the staff but nothing was done. It was scary they were breaking stuff in the room hitting each other yelling.

We stayed at a pool facing duplex at this 4 star hotel in Khaldeh, Lebanon, this past summer (2023). We paid $450 per night. Overall, the view from my room was great and the overall service was acceptable. However, my friends, who came around the same time and stayed in a 5-star hotel in Beirut, paid around the same price I paid for this 4-star hotel. Positive things include the nice view, the quality of the food, and the politeness of the staff. On the negative side, my $450/night room did NOT have a shower curtain (the bathroom turned into a swimming pool whenever we took a shower) and the lack of a safe in the room. I asked about the shower curtain and I was told that all duplex rooms have the same problem because the bathrooms are too small. I was advised to go shower in the public shower (instead of my $450/night room) if I am annoyed by this situation. The food at their restaurant was very good. I (and my family) used the restaurant heavily during my stay. I even invited my family one night with a bill (including tips) north of $700. We always generously tipped all the workers. However, whenever I called for a service from the restaurant I was "pennied and dimmed" about the little things. The resort itself is clean and well maintained however the surrounding area, until you reach the entrance, is rough and ghettoish. I personally would go back to that hotel/resort but I don't think my wife would approve that.

Well I went to Lebanon for a visit after being away for over 16 years and wanted to enjoy my vacation and my family there!! This hotel made it a HELL of a visit! Some stuff were extremely rude and unfriendly! Wasn't allowed to bring my own home made food cooked by my family! Fruits were denied!! I felt like I am prisoned!! Too much unnecessary rules! I used to argue with the staff in order to get clean towels!! Besides, they made me feel ashamed when one of the securities tried to charge my sister in order to come for a short visit and she was bringing some fruits with her as a gift and they kept it at the front desk and didn't allowed her to take it up to my room! Furthermore, you can hear easily the other guest in other rooms and some they were loud partying until 4:30am!!Overall, they ruined my vacation!!

the place is very unorganized. i had to ask to get my room cleaned. there was no towels in the room when I walked in. The WIFI service was terrible. Nobody answers the phone. the staff were helpful but too busy. there are no signs anywhere around the property to guide the guests.

Ich wurde mit meinem Badeanzug aus dem Pool raus gepfiffen aber andere durften es tragen geht garnicht !! Musik Box wurde weggenommen ?!?! Essen und trinken von außerhalb durfte man nicht ins Zimmer mit hoch nehmen für was gibt es dann eine Küche ?????? Taschen wurden kontrolliert Privatsphäre keine Spur !!!! Ein Früchteteller mit ganz wenig Obst wollten die 50 Dollar dafür haben ein Unding haben wir natürlich nicht bezahlt !!!!

I believe the staff and the management needs more training and education about diversity and how to respect guests from different backgrounds, I stayed in this resort for 2 days with my wife who is wearing hijab and they didn't allow her to get in the pool as we learned that they did have a policy that you cannot swim with Burkini even though it is an official swimwear in the most European countries and even in the US.( and they didn't allow us to cancel and refund the 2nd day). on the Second day we were laying down around the pool and my wife was wearing a pool dress and a guy asked for my wife to leave as they don't allow clothes around the pool even though there was another person with a dress but without hijab but it was okay for them ,which is clearly not a policy and cannot be applied in any pool in the world So I asked him to call his manager which was very ignorant and don't know his own rules and made fool of himself and left without proving a point or apologizing, this was clearly a discrimination. last day on the check out the receptionist called the manager and she tried to prove that it is a policy but she couldn't either and started apologizing for their behavior after ruined 2 days out of 4 days vacation and they are not willing to change this Burkini policy or their behavior. Other than that I think the property landscape and location is very unique and nice but needs a better management or just put a policy that "WE DON'T ALLOW HIJAB"

La Siesta Hotel Beirut - Avoid at all costs!
Horrible experience. Rooms were not ready and dirty. Zero amenities and especially not family friendly. They give you a kettle but no tea or coffee despite their promises to deliver some. You get served tea in the Restuarant in paper cups. We arrived at 9pm way past the regular check-in time and were shocked to find the rooms not ready. We even found a mop and other cleaning materials in the room. When we complained, we were told that we should have told them we are coming!!! They already confirmed the booking, took the money and sent us emails. Wondering how they managed to get an 8/10 rating, which made us book here. This is one to avoid at all costs. I wonder why Hotels.com did not inform their property manager as we put in a review immediately. Not one person came to speak to us.

The staff were coordinating transportation from airport 2 weeks prior to our arrival, they followed up 3 days prior to the trip to see if any changes were made, they made last minute adjustments without any hassles. The concierge person, Rana was a delight, she was so helpful and kind. The entire check in-check out process was a breeze. Since it was off season, they accommodated our late check in and check out. Overall, an amazing experience and I'm definitely going back.

Ho passato solamente una notte in questo hotel in quanto vicinissimo all'aeroporto e quindi comodo per voli ad orari più che mattinieri. Struttura bella e ben tenuta, ma in una posizione molto sfortuata. Si trova praticamente alla fine della pista dell'aeroporto di Beirut quindi il viavai di aerei è più che consistente. Peccato! Personale gentilissimo e cordiale. Appartamenti stile residence carini, pulitissimi e ben forniti.

My stay at this hotel was one that experienced extreme helpfulness and kindness from every worker I met. This extends from the front desk, all the way to the bartenders that I met. Everyone was very hospitable and jumped at any chance to assist me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if I am in the area again I would 100% choose to stay here again.

Nice place, friendly people. Some minor repairs would be recommended to be done, but the entire hotel is in very good condition. Rooms have aircondition and nice balcony with (mostly) view to the sea. Note that the hotel is pretty close to the airport! On the one hand you have the opportunity to be really fast at the airport, on the other hand you can hear the planes starting and landing.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Both swimming pools are great. Lovely breakfast is served at your table. What was is bit annoying, and simultaneously a tip for the hotel. You're unable to pay with maestro. Rooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side, but nice. Balcony is large. A tip for the hotel is to communicate to your guests. For example, tell them that you have to request housekeeping. In most hotels this is standard. Or maybe provide door sings. Our experience was super positive and we would definitely stay here again. Hopefully accepting maestro in the future.

Wij hadden een appartement geboekt met keuken. Er zat een mooi fornuis in met magnetron, met een enorme koelkast (incl 3 vriesladen) en een wasmachine. Dit leek allemaal erg nieuw. Alleen pannen en servies ontbraken. Toen we daar naar vroegen zei de dame van de receptie dat we maar pannen moesten gaan kopen. Uiteindelijk 1 steelpan te leen gekregen met wat borden en bestek. Maar koken kan je hier niet mee. Dat viel wel tegen. Omdat de restaurants in de buurt tegen vallen (veel fastfood) en ik toch last kreeg van het ontbijt in het restaurant van het complex. Ziet er verder schoon en netjes uit. Er komen veel laagvliegende vliegtuigen langs dus neem oordoppen mee! Zand op het strand is van slechte kwaliteit. Je kan prima in bikini aan het zwembad liggen. Er zijn goede alerte lifeguards aanwezig.
