The hotel is a bit worn, but pleasant. Stayed at 8th floor in a standard room, quite roomy and most importantly - clean.

Fint hotell, sentral beligenhet. kan bruke fitness senter på siden av for trening. Utenom en lite behjelpelig resepsjonist når vi sjekket inn var det et fint opphold.

bra hotell,med god beliggenhet
Litt dårlig start på oppholdet da resepsjonist var en smule arrogant og frekk og lite behjelpelig. Hadde booket med frokost, men det ville ikke resepsjonist gå med på til tross for jeg viste han bestilling. Han klarte helle rikke sjekke oss inn for to dager som oppholdet varte, men kun for første døgn, noe som førte til at kort sluttet å virke halveis i oppholdet . Utenom dette så var hotellet meget bra til prisen Beliggenheten er fin og service ellers utenom resepsjonisten meget bra.

Flott hotell, bra beliggenhet. God frokost. Litt lite bad, men ellers alt supert. Be gjerne om rom høgt oppe - fantastisk utsikt fra store vinduer. Svømmehall i 21. etg med flott utsikt. Røykevennlig land....

Not what it used to be
The staff of the Crown Plaza is the best thing, very friendly and helpful. And the location at Hamra-street is very good. But unfortunately the hotel is beginning to be very worn out, and the worst thing is that the rooms are not clean at all. On my trip I first stayed 2 nights, then came back and stayed 1 night. Both the rooms were very dirty, especially the bathrooms. I'm very sorry to say this, but it is not ok considering the price that you pay. So unfortunately I will not go back to the Crown Plaza next time I'm in Beirut

Nightmare, max 2-3 stars at best
Complete deception, hotel at best is 3 stars. Hotels.com should be held responsible for star rating. Reception, especialky female staff, was very rude with an attitude. It was a nightmare experience even when we got upgraded to a suite. Bathrooms are moldy (check pictures), water comes by tankers, muddy and polluted waters. Bottled waters at hotel is fake, got stomach infection. Too many bad things to write. Restaurant including food and staff are decent and nice, rest is horrible

The matress is not comfortable - if you book the standard room which is around 95 dollars you will get the view which i am showing in the picture. The hotel will never upgrade ur room to sea view eventhough the hotel is not fully booked ( 2nd day of Ramadan) and they will start to negotiate with you on the upgrade cost the reception will tell you 60 dollars per night then her boss will come and tell you 70 dollar both nights. The worst of all is when you get ask for an Iron and they get you the ironer very old and broken. By the way this is considered to be a 5 stars hotel

The location was suitable for me and I know the area very well. The staff were extremely polite and do their best to make you happy.
