I stort sett bra
Hotellet är i stort sett bra. Concierge service var väldigt bra till att boka utflykter, taxi och restaurangbesök. Ett stort minus är restuarangen som var en stor besvikelse. Dålig service och dålig engelska. Baren stänger kl 24:00 vilket også är lite märkligt.

Service på topp!
Hotellet var rent og holdt høy standard interiørmessig. Service var fantastisk helt fra resepsjonen, til servitører, og concierge service. Vi fikk masse hjelp til alt vi ønsket, slikt som å dra til den kinesiske mur. Frokosten er en av de beste frokostene jeg har fått på et hotell

Flott hotell midt i Beijing.
En fin oase midt i handlegata Wangfujing. Flott treningsrom og 25 meters basseng med jacuzzii i tillegg. Fantastisk frokostbuffet og flere muligheter for middag og lunsj.

Hotell med luksusfølelse
Hotell med super service og engelskspråklig personale. Ble oppgradert og rommene var veldig fine. Bodde i 12 etg og utsikten var veldig flott. Ligger 5 minutter gange fra et flott senter med internasjonale butikker blant annet en stor Victorias Secret. Også gangavstand til "Den forbudte by". T-bane nr. 1 som tar deg til mange kjente steder ligger ca 10 minutter gange unna.

My best hotel experince in Beijing
We spent 9 days at this amazing hotel - right in the most central district in Beijing. Short way to everything - the metro, shopping, and central to the most popular attractions like The Forbidden city, The Summer palass and the idyllic hutongs. Beautiful hotel, serviceminded and helpful staff, modern and excreamly clean all over. And remember to try the Spa - so nice. Best welcome in a chinese hotel you ever can get. I definatly will stay here next time.

The hotel is perfectly located in the Wangfujing area of Beijing. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are well appointed. The staff was very helpful and check in was flawless. There are many restaurants to walk to. We will stay here again

Renaissance hotel or Xin mao wan li hotel is amazing. Check in and check out in a breeze. The location is good, walkable to wangfujing shopping street. Everything evening there will be troops of dancers dancing along the pedestrian walk way. The best Beijing duck is here with lots of others of eateries. Must try quan jude Beijing duck house and Haidilao hotpot. Soho, sanlitun new shopping district in Chaoyang is 30 minutes taxi ride away . Tianamen square and forbidden city is nearby but better to get there in a taxi. Lobby staffs are very attentive and helpful and morning buffet is not to be missed.

To my surprise it was hard to find staff that spoke English. How can an American brand hotel not have staff that speak fluent English. This is unacceptable. On our last night we decided to eat at the hotel’s restaurant, not only were we the only people there, which should of been a sign, but the chef was upstairs at the concierge level and we had to wait for the services to finish upstairs to have our meal prepared. So they gave us complimentary bread for the one hour delay to bring our food. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel in a major capital city and they only have one person to prepare meals ? Unacceptable. Breakfast was okay, but I have had better ones at a Fairfield Inn, again a 5 star hotel. The breakfast catered mainly to Chinese taste and was poor on western options. The bathroom had mold.

We booked a suite for us family of four and requested an foldable bed (since the sofa in the sitting room is not a sofa bed), none of the other hotels we stayed during our trip to China (W in Shanghai, Kinggang in Xi’an, etc) charged us but we were charged here and that being not even available the first night of our stay. Rooms were quite dated and all carpet, did not feel clean…
