«Hotel was going through renovations, lift wasn’t working properly and then they turned off the lift for two days even on day of checkout. We were told someone would help. Nobody picked up call at reception. Pulled down two big bags for three floors. Might be a good stay once they are done with renovations.»

«Clean room, mini fridge and microwave, and reasonable choices for breakfast. Close proximity to local stores and restaurants, and a good spot to stay if you mean to explore the New River Gorge area. Finally, a hotel with decent pillows. That seems to be a common problem now, so if travelling by car, I typically bring my own pillow.»

«Comfortable room but not a great range of breakfast items. Many of us do not eat sugary food for breakfast.»

«The room was clean and comfortable and the staff member at the desk was very helpful. It's always nice when breakfast is included in the price of the room.»

«Property isn’t bad. FANTASTIC parking lot if you have a larger vehicle or a trailer behind you. Hotel itself is older and showing some signs of being tired but kept in good shape. Only complaint was I waited 20 min for the front desk clerk to show up to check me in. She was no where to be found. Not exactly what one wants after 18 hours of driving.»

«I loved the resort. Specially our room was lakeview and could see the morning reflection. The room was just like regulart hotel room but I personally liked it for the lake. Overall its a nice quiet place to stay»

«I had room 524 on the fifth floor. Shower water never got hot and I waited a good five minutes. The air conditioning/heating system would not heat. The pillows were obviously very dusty as I am allergy sensitive to dust. In general, it seemed this room hadn’t been slept in in a while or had not been well cleaned. Very good breakfast! Desk service at check-in was not very friendly and very mediocre. Feel like I deserve a refund.»

«Nice and restful place»

«Ok»

«The door lock was problematic, the bath tub didn’t drain, the bed coverlet had a stain on it, the light by bed was burned out and the plug did not work, there was a pretty significant leak in ceiling in hall to where carpet was wet. Overall the room itself was clean. But we will not stay again.»

«This hotel was superb! A great Value and I believe it was the owner that checked us un and was efficient and very friendly! I totally recommend this prop»
