In Town For A Wedding

We were two families from BC. This house was ideal for the 10 (sometimes 11) of us. Ron was easy to contact, and quickly answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic property

The house was incredibly spacious as well as very clean. All of the rooms were big and had comfortable beds. There were enough bathrooms for 11 of us and a big kitchen with all the necessary utilities for our big group! There was a large selection o board games and lot of other indoor games! Overall we had an excellent time in this accomodation and would highly recommend it for a big group looking for a really comfortable stay in Halifax!

Great spot for entertaining

We really enjoyed this large home in a central location. Perfect for day trips around the province. Owner was accessible and very helpful. Lots of space to hang out and entertain. The central AC was great with the hot weather

The house was very accommodating for our family vacation. The location was convenient

Mr MacFarland was helpful on usage of appliances,recycling and restaurants. My only concern was the temperature difference between the three levels.

Beautiful Halifax home!

This is a beautiful, spacious and clean home in Halifax in a lovely neighbourhood. We stayed here with our 3 young adult children and there was plenty of room for all. Ron was very easy to communicate with and we had absolutely no issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Proximity to downtown Halifax was great

We had a great time at the house. Working with Ron was great, always available for questions. Spent quality time with family and friends. Kitchen is very well stocked with many appliances. Rooms are spacious. Proximity to downtown Halifax was great, also very close to markets, liquor stores and gas stations. Balancing temp thru the house was slightly off, as top floor was warm but basement was freezing. Overall great place to stay, we will return if Ron will have us.

Beautiful Executive Home

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay - there were 7 adults and 2 children. The home was beautiful, clean and very well equipted. The location was excellent - we had a day in Halifax and drove to all of the sights that we had on our list including Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove and Fisherman's Cove. Ron's home was perfect for all of us. We could all sit at the dining room table for meals - cooking was a pleasure in the beautiful kitchen. The living areas both inside and out were very comfortable and allowed us time to be together. The bedrooms were large and comfortable also - there was plenty of space for us. We all left the home feeling very happy for the opportunity to have stayed in such a lovely place and would certaily recommend this home. Kind regards, Cindy Barber

Terrific

We enjoy our stay so much. Ron had sent great notes prior to our stay in Bedford which helped with the highlights of Halifax, suggestions on where to eat. Amazing notes. We did dine at 3 of his 5-6 recommendations and they were spot on! The house was beautiful and clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend this to friends or relatives in the future.
