The doors were damaged as if they had water rot, the elevator smelled like urine, no maid available other than certain days of the week, so if you wanted clean towels you had to bring yours down to the front desk and get clean ones. The front desk was only accessible from the outside of the rooms meaning you had to drive over there.

Hotels is old and dated, beds were decent and rooms were clean. Staff was efficient and helpful, surprisingly had a pretty good breakfast and free parking. Starbucks in walking distance, nice pool and was well maintained

Staff very efficient; property on outside a bit worn down, could use some tlc. Pool looked clean and inviting, but it rained so couldn't use it. Security parols the whole area, which is nice. Rooms very clean and breakfast plentiful and good.

The property is old and run down. Furnishings are that of a Motel 6 at best The outside walls and trim are in need of repair and a good paint job. Conwebs need to be removed. They do provide a breakfast of sorts and the location is convenient.

It is old and needs a deep cleaning inside and outside, elevators replaced (the one near our room stopped working and while we were inside last night the doors didn’t open right away),and the stairs railing on the stairs were loose.The ice machine on our floor was not working.

The young lady working the night of 4/26 around 8pm was nice and very professional and polite. The condition of the property however was HORRIBLE!!! Steps leading up to the room were filthy. The door on 203 had been kicked in before and barely closed properly, not to mention the paint peeling on the outside of the door. Chair at the desk was dirty and stained so bad we didn’t want to touch it or anything else in there for that matter. By 10 pm I had checked out, we were willing to sleep in the car after a 8 hour drive to Beaufort from Florida instead of sleeping in that room. We did find suitable accommodations elsewhere. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! I wish there was a way to upload pictures to save someone else from the horrible experience I had.

the stay wasn’t bad, the staff was super friendly!! but there were times that you could see that some things were missed in the remodel for sure. the toilet was consistently annoying, clogging even with no toilet paper so FYI

Not a nice place to stay. Didn't feel safe. Everything in the hotel room was falling apart. Smell was terrible. Very dirty. Pictures here are deceiving.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was average. Beds were comfortable. It worked for an overnight stay. The property seemed to be going through gradual improvements i.e. some elevators appeared newer and cleaner, lobby had been remodeled; HOWEVER the owners REALLY need to get moving on finishing these changes. The farther from the lobby, the sketchier it becomes. And this is a BIG property.

Good for one night. We had 2 rooms, they were clean but very old and updated. The doors are old and banged up, they lock but still feels like anyone can just open it! Also the doors are facing the parking lot, so you can hear everytime someone walks by. The building looks historic, which is very nice but it does need a remodeling asap!!!

Love the location, Walking around the inlet waters to the side of the property was really pretty. Breakfast was a large selection, the biscuits and gravy were good. Very convenient location

You pay for what you get. Rooms need a major update. The lights had an orange ring around all lights. Carpet was ripped the door looked like it got kicked in. Had to change rooms due to so much wrong in the room. It would be nice rooms if they redid everything. The staff was the best part so kind. Please update your hotel.

I liked the area pretty close to eateries and a starbucks on the corner. The room itself was old the rusty lamp shades threw me off, also the carpet shows its age, but for the price its a good clean bed and bathroom if that all you need.

This stay was stressful and unpleasant. Did not feel safe walking outside after dark due to people hanging out in the hallways, panhandling. Had to have maintenance on site with 15 minutes due to key card issues, the door handle was almost completely rusted off. Would not move rooms but instead “tightened” the handle. The second room we had, the phone did not work. When brought to front desk attention, response was ok, I’ll see what I can do. The toliet in either room couldn’t be flushed without getting clogged or constant water flowing. When first walking into the room, no tissues or toliet paper. Had to go to front desk immediately to get it. Also, never mentioned to us regarding the pool closed. I called a week before check in, the morning of check in and mentioned the kids excited to swim in down time and never mentioned it’s closed for the season. Just a very unpleasant and uncomfortable visit for a single mother and children for the mini vacation.
