Death Valley Gateway -Suite B

Spacious 2 bedroom duplex is located between 519 West Montgomery St. and HWY 374. The entry is identified with a “Unit B” sign on the HWY 374 side. The lockbox with entry key is at the door. Located on Hwy 374 in Beatty you are only a short distance (7mi) to the California State Line and the entry to Death Valley National Park through Daylight Pass, (4mi) from Rhyolite Ghost Town and (5mi) Titus Canyon Entrance. Great location from which to explore Death Valley, the Big Dunes, Ash Meadows National Wildlife and numerous other exciting desert locations. You will be comfortable in this 900 foot 2 bedroom, full kitchen, laundry area. Wi-Fi and 65” smart TV along with Roku, Netflix and Disney channels provided for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully furnished with pots/pans, dishes, eating utensils, etc. During COVID-19 we’re stocking coffee, teas along with creamers, sweeteners/sugar and Mountain Spring Water

This location is very close to one of the park entrances which is super convenient. Just beware that the town is pretty sparse (restaurants all serve burgers/pizza/hot dogs), so stop for groceries before you get to town if that’s your thing. Heads up that Apple Maps takes you to a different unit. This unit is on a diff road (behind) so we had to drive around the block to find it. We arrived in the dark and I wish there had been lighting outside - but otherwise check in was ok. The couch is big/comfy, beds were good. But a couple of things that were weird: we had no soap in the bathroom (only hand sanitizer) and the washer/dryer, and dishwasher had not been emptied before we arrived. The place looked visibly clean but finding someone else’s clothing and dishes was a bit disconcerting, made me unsure how well it was cleaned before our arrival.

Pros: Clean. Kitchen well equipped. Easy check-in/out. Good communication. Good temperature control inside the house.Cons: Bed mattresses are making a lot of noise when you move and walls are a thin.

Great Hideaway

This was a cozy place to stay for my trip to Death Valley. Kitchen had everything you need, the TV is GINORMOUS and the bed was very comfortable. Communication with the owner was fantastic, too.

Get Place in a Perfect Location

The location couldn’t have been better. On the edge of town at the Death Valley entrance side. The house was much better than expected and perfect for my sister and I to visit Death Valley NP. The place was very well supplied and would have been great for an extended stay but we only had a couple of days. There’s a huge TV, games, etc so an extended stay would have been very nice. Nathaniel, the owner, was super responsive and check-in was a breeze. The wild donkeys in the area just added to the enjoyment.

Spring break at Death Valley

We had a great experience in Beatty. Location was great for Death Valley. It was about a 35-40 min drive to the main hub at Furnace Creek, 30 min to Stovepipe Wells. The property itself was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Instructions were easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient and clean

This was a perfect stopover on our way out of Death Valley. The duplex had everything we could need for a comfortable stay with a nice kitchen and bath. Very little traffic at night, at least in January. Overall, I would recommend staying here and would stay here again myself.

Great stay close to Death Valley

The property is well stocked and provides the best alternative we could find to staying in-park. The drive to the park is relatively short and you end up central to most major attractions/trails. Would recommend!

If you're planning a trip to Death Valley National Park, and don't want to pay the outrageous prices for staying in the park, check this place out. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is really nice. Hardwood floors throughout. 2 Separate bedrooms with comfy beds, full comfortable bathroom, a big kitchen stocked with bowls, plates, silverware, etc. A washer and dryer. A big couch in the living room with a nice tv setup.This is also the closest house to Death Valley National Park. Just keep in mind, there isn't much for entertainment in the town Beatty.

Cozy and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy, compact, sunlit property. The house was well stocked, the kitchen was a delight to use. The large TV and the foosball table were nice to use. The property is well located as a gateway to Death Valley NP. Would stay again if ever in the area.

Very cute and clean retreat unit. There were many amenities for off the grid facility, and was easy to come and go. Yard felt very safe and clean, we didn’t bring our service dog in training, I am a professional dog trainer, but I would absolutely feel safe to take my dog(s)

Best in Beatty

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Beatty than Nathaniel's unit. The condo is well equipped, clean and comfortable. We stayed seven nights and traveled to Death Valley NP everyday. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the well-stocked kitchen and packed a cooler for our lunch and drinks. I would definitely stay here again.

Best in Beatty

Great little property, cleanliness was top notch, with vacation rentals there is always a small amount of anxiety for me, that element of the unknown. There is absolutely no reason to be anxious about this property. It's in a quiet part of town, great accessibility to Death Valley and Rhyolite. Exceeded expectations, would absolutely stay at this property again if in the area.

Unit B was a perfect place to stay as we explored Death Valley each day. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Having a washer and dryer right there was convenient for us. Nathaniel responded quickly to any questions we had.

Clean,comfortable stay close to Death Valley

Great stay close to Death Valley National Park. Very clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed and then some to make our stay great. Loved that we were left coffee and that the kitchen had all the cookware we needed as there’s not much around that area for eating options.
