«Communication with the host and check in/check out were very easy. You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation.»

We were not up to speed on the Ocean Beach vibe, but if you are looking for an old time, relaxed beach experience, this is for you. Apartment unit was well stocked. Nothing fancy, but its the beach! Parking is limited to street. Not a problem in February, but might be a little challenging during the summer season.»

The location was spectacular, so close to the beach and walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops on Newport Ave. The casita is extremely well-equipped and had everything we needed. «House was just what we needed and in a great location, just as advertised. Close to everything we wanted to do in San Diego. Owners were communicative and responsive. As at least one other reviewer mentioned, there was significant road noise, which was sometimes distracting. And although we adhered to quiet hours, the neighbor on one side seemed to be doing some work, so we heard music and power tools through the walls around 8 am several days. «So close to the beach and such a nice stay! Definitely wasn’t 100% clean on arrival (lots of sand) and the light fixtures looked like they need a deep clean. Furniture in living room was uncomfortable but the bed was good! Adjoins to a downstairs and two nights had some very noisy neighbors since there’s not much of a sound barrier. For the most part, the stay was awesome and we had such a good time! Check in and out was easy! Loved how close to the beach we were and Evolve was great to work ...
