«We stayed for 2 nights. The resort is very cool with a lot of nature right in the middle of the jungle. The rooms are nice. The food is expensive and mostly just okay. There are a lot of activities to do there, but you are a captive audience and excursions are quite expensive. Transportation out there is a bit difficult, be prepared for a long Uber ride. « A long and bumpy ride up to the lodge. As soon as you check in they force you to pay for breakfast as you are disoriented and tired from the ride. You are told you are not allowed to decide in the morning if you are even hungry. Paid for two for breakfast. In the morning only one could eat breakfast because the other was sick. «We only stayed one night when travelling through, but wished we would have had more time to enjoy the horse riding and ziplines. The dinner and breakfast was prepared for us by wonderful staff, and they catered for vegan, vegetarian and carnivores in our family group, including our 2-yr old grandson. «The property needs to be advertised better . What’s in the photos is not the room I received. The ac is not on and takes a while to cool the bedroom as that’s the only room with ac . The water pressure is not good at all . I couldn’t get my long hair rinsed out . The items included on the welcome package were not included . They only serve pizza at the restaurant at the establishment. My room was not cleaned and I stayed 4 days . Left for breakfast daily and no bed made or garbage removed .»

«Room was great for the price. Shuttle was great. Bar staff and food was great. Pool was also great. There is a Starbucks, Ice cream store and a few restaurants within walking distance. Front desk staff were a bit sour. I felt like I was putting them out to ask questions, book the shuttle or otherwise. They were the only downside, no real greeting, no smile; which is unusual for Costa Rica to be honest! Everything else I can recommend. »

«Fantastic place! We did the horseback riding and enjoyed the hot springs and pool. Ok restaurant. Great snack bar. Disappointed that they never managed to fix the AC in our living room. Great appartment though. Go for the junior suites on the top. They are awesome!»
