«In the area to hike at Acadia NP. Stayed 2 weekday nights with my husband and our adult son in a room with 2Q beds.
In appearance, it's a typical no-charm motel but there was plenty of space in the room, comfortable beds, and very helpful staff.
Breakfast is mostly standard motel food, but yay for the thoughtful selection of some healthier foods like fresh fruit, cups of plain Bob's Red Mill oats (just add water), and energy bars to take hiking. There's also coffee (including decaf) and tea ...

«Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.»
