Meget godt fornøyd
Hotellet var enkelt å finne, fri parkering under hotellet. Fikk mye for pengene, ansatte var hyggelige og behjelpelige. Irsk frokost ga godt grunnlag for dagens aktiviteter.

So surprised at this place, did not expect as much as it had to offer, it was beautiful! Food was delicious, staff friendly, everything you’d expect from an Irish hotel. Breakfast was the best (apart from my sisters house) I’ve had on my whole three week trip, through various parts of the country. Pauline, my breakfast waitress was excellent, courteous, friendly and had a word for everyone she met. A treasure.

This clearly used to be a very nice and modern hotel but it now has a bit of a dated feeling; it's still ok but I wouldn't rush back to it.

Great bar and bar food. great breakfast but the hotel room although a good size and well laid out as very poor fitting windows which makes it very noisy with street traffic when trucks are cars drive past

Great accommodations in Bantry

Excellent Stay at The Maritime
We had a really enjoyable stay at the Maritime. This hotel has a lovely atmosphere. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They took time out to chat with people and made you feel like a valued guest. Food and drink service were very good and not too pricey. We had a one bedroom suite which allowed us an element of self catering but with hotel facilities. This is a perfect base location for touring West Cork.

We had a wonderful time at the Maritime Hotel, especially at the bar where we lived the true irish experience with some local folks singing old irish songs. We highly recommend this hotel. Everything was just perfect !

Parking is across the street and underground. Rooms are large and ours had a lovely balcony. Breakfast was included. It really good with lots of choices. I don’t recommend drinking the tap water from the room. It has a brownish tint.

Easy to get to and walkable to local shops and restaurants. We had a second floor room that was on the roadside and was a little noisy. If you want a hotel that’s easy to get to with parking and a great location this is the place.

Mixed Blessings!
Poor on arrival. No parking available. Didn't get requested quiet room so awake till 1am due to function on first floor! No facility for eating in bar due to same function. Staff/service was very good. Play list bit too lively for 8am swim! Seaview was more a view of Super Valu across inlet. Room was comfortable.

The beds were very bouncy leading to a very disturbed night. It was incredibly windy for our 2 nights and the noise this caused through the window seals was equally disturbing

Take another look around, but trust me on Kimsale
The hotel wasn't fully opened with limited services. Probably not an issue in high season but annoying during my staff. A lot of new staff that were only learning so again not an issue for the high season traveller. Small gym but the equipment is servicable. Couldn't get access to the pool due to servicing which was annoying. Breakfast was limited and our breakfast was cut short due to the arrivial of new furniture. So on the plus side new furniture in the bar. Over all it was disappointing. We used this trip to suss the hotel out as a wedding reception venue; verdict: Epic Fail. Kinsale is an amazing spot and we'll be back but there are other options that would cater to your needs better. If you are attending a gig / event in the hotel it might be a solid option but not the right fit for a romantic get away or wedding reception.

Lovely stay
Was a lovely holiday in a very nice hotel, cleaned and good service. The only problem for me was that I had to go every day to reset the room key cards, which was a little annoying especially when you had to come from the pool with the kids. Overall a very highly recommended hotel.

I loved that this Hotel was right near the water. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant was awesome. The breakfast was awesome too. The rooms were beautiful and the whole Hotel was lovely. We also had massages while we were here and they were awesome. Unfortunately we did not bring and swimming stuff and were not able to use the pool and hot tubs while we were there. The parking was also convenient.

Hotel was nice, we had a nice apartament with 2 rooms so it was really comfortable to stay with kids. Just one little issue : the windows were noisy so my husband couldn't sleep as he woke up when cars were passing the hotel. It was the only issue.

The lobby with the open fire and gorgeous decor was very inviting and cosy especially with the weather outside being cold and icy. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return when we are next visiting the area. We didnt get a chance to visit the bar or restaurant this time but we are looking forward to trying them in the future. The pool and jacuzzi were also very nice and clean and not too busy.

Worse than our previous stay there.
All good with the room and parking. Also very welcoming staff at the reception desk. However, the breakfast was really bad. We paid for full Irish breakfast, but the food was cold, untasty (bad coffee, cheap beans - guessing it was the Supervalu brand) and served on a dirty table. The staff keen on to finish early - they started to remove some options (juice) before the last guests finished.

The town is lovely. The Maritime was wonderful with good food, lovely pool, and helpful staff. The bed was the most comfortable one we slept in during our entire trip.

Hotel is located in a great position overlooking the bay. Room wasn't cleaned until after 1600, so were back in the at the time.

Our stay was good, staff friendly and helpful.Our room was not ready at checkin time and we had to wait another hour and after a very long journey this wasn't great but apart from that our stay was good.This was the 3rd time we have stayed at the Maritime.

Stunning hotel. Few down sides were the lifts are ridiculous. You have to change lifts to go to reception, sofa bed was very bad, no comfort at all. Big plus we’re the staff. The nicest friendly people I’ve come across. So helpful.

Dear Alan, Thank you for your review. We are currently in the process of changing our sofa beds so you will get to try the new ones on our return to us. Unfortunately, We cannot change the lift system but we continuing to improve our signage to make things easier.
