Long View is a spacious home on Beech Mountain that boasts breathtaking long-range mountain views. Step out onto the deck, and you'll be greeted by an incredible panorama, where you can see the mountains of three different states stretching to the horizon. Located less than two miles from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, this premier vacation home provides easy access to winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing. In the warmer months, you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, chairlift rides, and disc golf. You'll also appreciate the convenience of nearby Beech Mountain restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Explore the Emerald Outback by hiking or biking, and visit the Buckeye Recreation Center, just a short three-mile drive away, which features basketball courts, tennis courts, racquetball courts, a playground, and a lake ideal for fishing and paddle boating. The town of Banner Elk is six miles away and offers attractions like Lees-McRae College, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, and the Banner Elk Winery. Grandfather Mountain is just 30 minutes away, and Boone is 45 minutes from the cabin. Dining options in Beech Mountain include popular spots like the Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria, Holy Smokes BBQ, Fred's Backside Deli, and the Mile High Tavern.

This two-level home features wood floors, a high vaulted ceiling, and abundant space for family and friends to enjoy. The main level includes a bright, open great room with an array of windows offering stunning views. The open kitchen serves as a comfortable gathering place, equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a large kitchen island with bar stool seating. The dining area overlooks the mountains and features a large wooden table that seats ten. Additionally, there is a powder room and a laundry room on the main level. Expansive upper and lower decks provide ample space for outdoor grilling, dining, and relaxing while taking in the mountain scenery. The lower level features an inviting family room with a shuffleboard table, a TV, and a cozy leather sofa. The garage game room is equipped with a ping-pong table and also includes a ski rack, a boot bench, and boot warmers for guests returning from the slopes.

The main level hosts the master suite, which includes a TV, deck access, and a private bathroom with a jetted tub and separate shower. The lower level contains a king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, while two queen bedrooms share a full hallway bathroom. There is also a spacious office with a full private bathroom, including a queen sleeper sofa for an additional sleeping area.

Additional amenities at Long View include central heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort, Wi-Fi, and paid TV programming. Up to two dogs are allowed with an additional pet fee. There is an upper driveway at the main entrance and a lower driveway leading to the garage. Please note that the heated garage features a ski rack, boot bench, and boot warmers but does not provide parking space. During the winter months (October through March), we strongly recommend using a 4-wheel- or all-wheel-drive vehicle, and chains may be necessary in snowy or icy conditions.
