Upon arriving, we were given a choice of 3 rooms and got to choose an upgraded room with a balcony and a great view! The view was the highlight of our trip. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive to us upon arrival. The hotel is in a great location close to local attractions and restaurants. We had dinner at the in-hotel restaurant McCormick & Schmick's and we had a delicious meal! There is a self-parking lot just next door to the building which we used for $35/night. The room was clean and spacious.
Because we stayed in the off season, the hotel was fairly empty. Others were given a choice of their rooms, and all three nights that we stayed, someone was upgraded to the room next to ours, which also had the option to be adjoined (there was a door which was locked that linked the two rooms).
During the first two nights there was some noise from the adjoined guest, but it was minimal and did not disrupt us. During the third night there was constant noise (banging and shouting) and marijuana smoking from the next room which kept us awake until 2AM when we finally had to call down to the front desk to complain. The front desk did handle the situation and we were able to get some rest after that. With the hotel being so empty, we wished that people did not have to be placed directly next to us. It would have allowed for a much more peaceful stay. Additionally, the bed sagged in the middle and we rarely had warm water. It made it difficult to get a shower.
