Very comfortable bed right at the beachfront. The area is very quiet throughout the night.

Outstanding customer service by their entire staff! Yvone Ramos, the manager, along with Rochelle and Jen at the front desk accommodated our date alterations. Also, Billy at the restaurant was very prompt at our service needs. I want to ensure these hard workers get recognized! For sure this is the best place to stay in Baler! The beds and pillows are super comfortable. The rooms have balconies overlooking the beach. Both my kids took surfing lessons, all scheduled by the hotel. Rommel is an awesome surf instructor! I totally recommend this hotel!

One of the nicer properties in this area of Baler. Could use a little attention to details in the room. The area also could be cleaned up to make it nicer.

Service, staff, was great, only things we didn't like was the restroom (CR) window stays open and can not be closed, concern about mosquitos and other animals coming in, Dogs barking, and people working and nailing next to our room.

Located on the beach at the end of the boardwalk. Good breakfast options and restaurant with differing menu selections. The staff was very friendly professional and accommodating.

The staff was very accommodating. It was very convenient for access to the beach and surfing lessons. Overall a very descent place to stay for a quick trip to Baler.

Like the clean room and staff service. Breakfast is okay more choices like Tapsilog would be preferred. A pool and the clear environment outside though safe would have been an added advantage for .us to have a choice to swim beyond 6 pm.

Great stay.
The hotel was clean and staff friendly. The restaurant was good as well. We had the power go out a few times and the cable Tv did not work. Access to the beach right across the street with parking available on site. Easy walking distance to a few restaurants close to nearby resorts.

Playa azul is nice and clean but there are better and cheaper places to stay nearer to the action spot. The beach in front is not advisable for kids.

Friendly staff... But no recreational facilities like a billard table or darts and the bar dont have any cocktails only beer brandy and whisky.

The place has been accommodating and attentive to all of our family needs. Their staffs are all pleasant to deal with. They allow PETS. We brought our 2 dogs with us when we went to Baler. The room is very spacious and clean which is very conducive for the families who have infants with them. I have a 3 months old baby. We booked the room with sea view. The breakfast is good. It has a lot of parking space at the back of the hotel. Very near to the mainstreets of Baler. Worth every penny.

Food was good, room is just too small for 4 adults. No view in the room. However the staff are great and very accomodating and nice.

Excellent beachfront location
Baler is a great place to learn to surf. The hotel is just steps away from the beach. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are well kept and very clean. Food is good too!

Playa Azul Hotel review.
Overall stay is well appreciated. Friendly staff and clean hotel facilities. I definitely go back with my relatives and friends. Accessible and near the beach area.

One of the Best in Baler!
Really loved our stay at Playa Azul. It's located a bit further from the main spots (e.g. Aliyah Surf, Costa Pacifica, etc), maybe 5 min walk, which is not so bad and pretty much what we liked about their location. It's beachfront and not so crowded compared to the main area. We also surfed right in front of our hotel (get Ocean Side Surf instructors), which was so convenient and we had more space for us to surf in as well. The staff were so accommodating even when we had a somewhat late check out. The complimentary breakfast was also good! Overall, it was a great stay at Playa Azul and we'd definitely choose to stay there gain when we visit Baler--which is also just as amazing btw.

Over all it was good. The room we booked was SEA view so it was relaxing and the room was spacious. What really stands out is the customers service.

❤️ the location! ❤️ their mattress. no elevator though. had senior citizens with us, and were at the 3f. front desk staff seemed unsure how to handle my request/inquiry about senior charges though. will go back for the location though.

Nice hotel, very welcoming and friendly stuff
A very cozy beach view hotel. The stuff is super helpful and kind. WiFi is only available in the lobby and pretty slow (but you get there to escape from civilization, right?).
