Billig overnattingsalternativ
Vi overnattet en natt på gjennomreise. Helt greit hotell. Nydelig uteområde med elv som renner forbi med svane som badet, grønt og fint. Rommet var derimot litt slitent, og luktet ikke helt bra. Glad vi skulle bare overnatte en natt. Helt grei frokost og siden vi bare var på gjennomreise spiste vi ikke på hotellets restaurant. Alt i alt billig overnatting så standarden er vel som prisen,

Ålreit hotell i stille omgivelser
Meget imøtekomme og trivelig betjening. Stille og rolig område og lett å parkere. God plass til større Amerikanske biler. Ålreit rom med kjøleskap og kaffetrakter (på badet?! noe vi har sett på flere andre hoteller på reisen forøvrig) Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Vi var riktignok bare en natt. Ikke stort å gjøre i området rundt tror jeg men er en del spisesteder. Som de fleste andre steder i USA så er du avhengig av bil da kollektiv er noe de i stor grad ikke tror på.

Hotell med flott uteområde
Stort flott rom med god wi-fi og gode senger. Frokosten som vi fikk servert på en restaurant i tilknytning til hotellet var noe mangelfull. Hotellet har et fint uteområde med svømmebasseng og gode parkeringsmuligheter. Det er godt tilrettelagt for røykere på uteområdene og det er gangavstand til sentrum.

It was so clean, fresh, and neat. It is right across from the Bakersfield train station, and very handy to break up a long trip with a night's rest. The room was in excellent condition.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that there where some people bbqing in the bed of their pickup truck outside the door i had to use to access my room, and though that itself didn't bother me but the fact that they threw their chicken bones on the ground everywhere did a I was traveling with my service dog. Luckily I noticed when I took my dog out and was able to find the majority of them before my dog got ahold of one. So really it was the other guests that where not being mindful that was my only problem with my stay. Otherwise i would recommend the hotel and stay there again myself.

Hotel was clean ,staff was good. The only issue was that the pool is empty no water and they should inform people of that, ice machine wasn’t working in the location we were staying at so we had to walk to another building. Too many people the pool is important specially if the weather is hot and customers should be notified of.

Description of hotel state car charger on site. I arrive to find no charge station but not even a 220 plug. The hotel is not one i would normally stay bit chose it specifically for chatge station. I dont normally write reviews but totally false advertising and a major inconvience.

The only good thing about this hotel was the check in. Was checked in less than 5 minutes. But the rooms and hallways smelled very stuffy and the walls are paper thin. We could hear other peoples conversations as if they were in the room with us. And the doors slamming shut constantly was even more annoying.

The overall property was nice & convenient for what we had planned, we choose this hotel due to the fact that it was walking distance to our show that we were attending. our room air conditioning wasn’t working when we first arrived! And we checked the wall thermostat yet the screen was shattered! Once we finally got the unit turned on, we couldn’t turn the temperature up or down/ hotter or colder. Resulting in us leaving by 7:30am bc it was to hot inside the room we were put into! When checking out I let them know that it was not working, & the only thing they said was “sorry, I’ll let the hotel managers/ maintenance know about it. But over all was an average stay!

We loved the cleanliness of the room, the comfort of the bed, and the nice grounds. However, whoever was in room #106 was so loud, into the wee hours of the morning (3-4 a.m.!) that it woke us up. Pounding on the wall telling them to quiet down did not work. Other than that, we will definitely be staying at this hotel next trip to the Mechanics Bank Stadium and Arena.

Nice clean rooms. Older part of Downtown Bakersfield. My only complaint about the hotel is that it is the only Best Western or Best Western Plus that charges for breakfast. Come on now, even the Sleazy 8 has a free breakfast buffet. I will stay at the Holiday Inn next time.

I did not think the staff, the front desk were accommodating or even interested in answering questions or help us. When asked for either a cot or extra blankets, the answer was NO, nothing more. They knew knowing about the surrounding area and could not direct us to another source. Its ok for a one night stay and nothing else. $5.00 for a cup of coffee? in their restaurant. come on..

Property Needs Updates Badly
Place is spotless, but very, very dated lobby furniture and infrastructure especially in tje common areas. While very clean and painted, the property is in great need of updates to remove old 1960's brickwall decor, wood furniture and wrought iron fencing around the whole property. It was rather inconvenient for me to have to enter and exit from only one opening. But, ai understand management needs out numerous transients in the area. I was also very irritated to discover thay when I hopped in the shower to that the wall-mounted shamppo and body gel pump dispensers were totally empty. Poor quality control for sure. That being said, front desk staff and housekeeping personnel were all warm and friendly.
