Le Plessis-Lepage - "Le Gite" **** Calm-Space-Green at Azay-Le-Rideau

Overlooking the Indre valley, just a few hundred metres from the town centre and the famous Château d'Azay le Rideau, Le Plessis-Lepage is a former country estate built in the mid-19th century.
You're on the route of ‘La Loire à Vélo’ and ‘L'Indre à Vélo’. Numerous walking and cycling routes take you along picturesque, mostly easy roads in the valleys and on the hillsides of the Indre, Loire and Cher rivers. The national forest of Chinon is just a few kilometres away. You're in the heart of the vineyards and a stone's throw from the famous châteaux of Saché, Villandry, Langeais, Ussé and Chinon.
Nearby, a media library, public swimming pool, tennis complex, equestrian centres, several golf courses and play parks will appeal to young and old alike.
Le Plessis-Lepage enjoys a particularly peaceful environment. Its vast wooded garden is protected by a hillside and a traditional stone wall. Vehicles are kept in an enclosed area. Bikes and motorbikes are parked under cover.
The site comprises two houses: the one we live in and the one we rent out, which houses two dwellings, each with a ground floor and 1st floor: ‘Le Gîte’ and ‘L'Atelier’.
Our gîtes are comfortable and ‘ready to live in’: all the essentials are available, household linen and towels are in place and the beds are made.

Three supermarkets, including an organic one, cafés, restaurants and all services and traditional shops are within 800 metres...
