"Nice, modern rooms. Comfortable bed and clean rooms. Balcony with a view. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. There’s a lovely rooftop terrace with a pool and sun loungers. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, which was perfect for us. The location is great — close to several places like Lisbon, shopping centers, etc. Free parking, and there was always space available. We had booked for 2 days but liked it so much that we stayed an extra day. When we checked out, we were given cookies for the road — a nice gesture."

"This was our top stay in Portugal. A bit expensive, but abolutely worth it. Very nice room, with very comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful, and gave us all the information we needed. Picked up our luggage (and us) with their golfcart. Service was excellent. Exclusive access to the castle, and the towers kept you away from the tourist crowds during daytime on the city walls. Also a very nice patio in front of the reception with a nice view over over the town. If we could afford it I would have liked to stay longer here. "
