One of the highlights of the neighborhood is the Aveiro canals. Just a short walk away, these picturesque waterways offer unique boat tours on traditional moliceiros, iconic boats originally used for seaweed harvesting. The canals are a hallmark of Aveiro, often earning the city the nickname “the Venice of Portugal.”

Close by, you'll find the Aveiro Museum, also known as the Museum of Santa Joana, located in a former convent. This museum showcases an impressive collection of sacred art and offers insights into the city's rich history. For those interested in local culture, it's one of Aveiro’s must-visit sites.

Another nearby gem is the Fish Market (Mercado do Peixe), where locals and visitors alike gather to enjoy fresh seafood. The area around the market also hosts several popular restaurants where you can savour traditional Portuguese dishes, particularly those featuring the day’s fresh catch.

Not far from Rua Luís G. Carvalho is Marquês de Pombal Square, a quaint historical square with traditional architecture, cosy cafes, and small shops. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Aveiro and people-watch over a coffee.

For those willing to explore a bit further, Barra Beach and Costa Nova Beach are accessible by car or public transport. Costa Nova is especially famous for its colourful, striped houses lining the beach, which make for fantastic photo opportunities and a memorable seaside experience.

Finally, the area also has the Forum Aveiro shopping centre, an open-air mall with various shops, restaurants, and even a cinema—ideal for both shopping and leisure.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

The nearest train station, Aveiro station, is just a 3-minute walk away.

Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is a 60-minute drive from the property.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
